I am a past client of this provider
My father lived in a rural area but Home Instead had people that came in. They drove him back and forth in Dothan to go to his clubs. They did not keep him active though, they were just sitters. They took care of him for eight hours during the day, and in the last two years, at night also. Home Instead was very good for what they did. They have nurses that came in and do evaluations.

Was not happy with this company's service. Was promised trained caregivers and received the opposite. It was not bad when Client Care Coordinator, Tracy, was at this company due her ability to teach and guide the caregivers along with the assistance to our family but when she was no longer employed at this company the service went downhill. We were promised at least 2 caregivers but after Tracy left we had rotating caregivers and it was very upsetting and confusing to my mother who has alzheimers. When we contacted the office we were pretty much told we would have to take what we got or do without. We have since moved to another company who we are very pleased with and do not have the issues we encountered at Home Instead Senior Care of Dothan, AL. Just beware of the promises made by this company.

We found a great in-home care service from Home Instead Senior Care for my mother that same day I searched for one. It was wonderful. I know it's hard to find a caregiver that fast. It was awesome. It's a good match for her. We use their service only when I go out of town. We haven't had any problem. The whole process has been very smooth, very nice, and everything has been fine.
