Some of them are not as good. It's gotten better, though. The one we really liked moved away. They used to be owned by someone else. The management is only interested in making money. I've complained about some of the aides. They took away the aides that took away people that were here for years. That thoroughly confused my mother with dementia.

They could have been reliable. One issue is that they called me the night before my surgery and they said the person that was coming was not coming. They were sending a new person and I was not going to leave my husband home alone with a new person. It was unacceptable. I had to make different arrangements for care.

Some of the caregivers went above and beyond. It all depended on the caregiver. Some were really good, but others were not. I feel like they should clock in when they enter the home. I have had some people clock in, then sit in their car for a little bit until they were late.

They give good care, are knowledgeable, and have registered nurses in charge. I can see that they have been trained very well.

Brightstar Care's caregiver is very nice. They clean up a little bit, feed you if you have a problem with eating, and walk around with you. They've been very good. They wash the floor, vacuum the carpet, and change sheets.

So far Brightstar is very good, very responsive, and professional. I told them that I need consistency. I need 24/7 care, and I need the same people over and over again otherwise I have to train people every time a new person comes in. But that message was not received and I had about 8 different people and every time there’s a new person I can’t go out, I can’t do my errands. So we’re settling down into a routine. But I haven’t given them enough time to get to know each other and to understand that I need the same caregivers, or at least 4 of them. But it can’t be 8. It can’t be a new person every time. So that was the only problem.
