Bright Star was recommended to me by a social worker at Enloe Hospital when my husband became ill and needed assistance getting to doctor appointments. They were able to locate a caregiver on short notice which I appreciate. The caregiver they sent was very nice, her name is Sarah. She was very polite, personable, on time and good at assisting me with my husband. For me at least, the only negative thing is the cost but I realize that they are running a business and need to make a profit while still paying their employees.

Time to look for alternatives. There appears to have been a change in ownership/leadership and that change is unfortunate. Recently I have had numerous appointments missed because their people have not shown up when they said they would. And suddenly I am being sent people who sit and look at their phones and resist simple chores like carrying out garbage. I have complained, but the new manager simply "tells me how it is going to be." I hope things go back to the way they were, (and there are some helpers there that are really good) but until they do, look elsewhere.

It is very important to me. I wear a brace from my surgery and someone has to put the brace on me so I can do daily things. It is very important to my healing. The caregivers need to be given the proper education on how to fit the brace on me. I have three different people who come out.
