As long as I have an aide, it's wonderful and I pretty much always have a caregiver. My caregivers have helped me the most by doing what I ask them to do. They lockdown my inside windows. I have a huge mirror in my living room the size of a couch that they clean. I don't see that they can improve anything. There's not much I don't like. I like that sometimes they go a little bit beyond what I ask them to do.

I was calling to inquire about a caregiver schedule and the receptionist “Terry” was extremely rude when I was asking for clarification about another change in my fathers care. Terry hung up on me. The gentleman that took the call when I called back was combative as well and actually laughed at me when I was hanging up the phone. Given the delicate nature of providing care to incapacitated, elderly humans, these two employees were not compassionate, kind, or understanding when all I asked was In the future to be notified if a caregiver was going to be switched-to protect my loved ones safety. (I’ve asked more than once). We have 1 AMAZING caregiver from this company but the rest have not been helpful. We have had feces left all over the bathroom and-for the most part-aside from the one amazing worker we have, the care has been inconsistent and not reliable. We cancelled. I’m still trying to figure out if we were over charged because the initial woman quoted us $4 less per hour than what appeared on our bill. $60 a visit is hard to swallow when they just come in and sit. Leave trash everywhere, then leave. If your loved one really needs exceptional care-or even just good care-this company is like flipping a coin. It could go either way on any given day. Most days were bad. Please be cautious when choosing this company for your loved one. I wouldn’t trust them with my family.

I liked Right at Home Charleston/Beckley. They came in and watched Mom and Dad, cleaned the dishes, and made sure they ate and were comfortable. The caregivers were fair, though I was not totally happy with it. They should be leaving their cellphones at home and stop texting while they're here at the house, and should not be so lazy.
