The caregiver wasn't a very pleasant person to be around. We should have gotten someone in there to watch her sooner so she could get used to someone helping her. She needed to get used to having someone be around her. When we had one group come in, my loved one went to get out of the shower and fell. She fractured her shoulder. After she got out of the rehab center, she fell out of the bed and hit her head.

The care giver is excellent, she goes above and beyond to help and visit with my mother who is not very talkative. I have requested this caregiver to be the only one who takes care of my mother. This has been wonderful. The office personal is not great. I had to cancel a date, the office did not inform my care giver who came to the house. Behold, a week later -- I am billed for the caregiver for an hour. Two weeks later, I am still unable to get an answer from the office staff as to why I am being billed for an appointment that I canceled.

Some caregivers are good and some are not. It was just that one caregiver that didn't do so well. She criticized me because I wasn't given her food and water, and my mom was unconscious.That's one of the things with death is they're not hungry, and they're not thirsty, but she made me feel bad and like I was doing something wrong. I was just angry with her the whole time she was there. I would like to see that the caregivers that you get for end of life be suited for that. I had a really bad experience with one of the caregivers because she didn't know anything about end of life care.

It served the purpose that we hired them for. My wife is suffering from breast cancer and needed the help from them. They could have been more help if they were closer. They always answer their phone and always answer my questions. They took good care of us.

They have eliminated a little bit of pressure off of me knowing that someone is going to check on my dad and help him when I can't be there. The communication seems to be really good between them and me. If they notice things, they are quick to let me know.

The caregivers just monitored her and they didn't have much of an impact. I liked how pleasant the caregivers were and that they were attentive to her needs.
