They have been good at responding to the home care ladies, but a couple of times we had difficulty with the scheduling. I would like to see that of the charge or cost of the home care, I have had a couple of questions with regard to receiving the invoice. No one ever answers that number on the invoice.

The gal I have is very good, but she is late a lot of the time. She is not very late, but usually 10 minutes late. Sometimes she needs to be more careful with cleaning.

My wife had Alzheimer's but Sandy, the caregiver, they just hit it off. She did a really good job taking care off my wife. I never had to worry about anything when she was here. The lady that took care of my wife was wonderful. She was exceptional and can't say a bad word about her. The hardest part of providing a service for the company is getting people matched up to clients. It's very difficult. For the most part, when the regular sitter wasn't here, they did a good job. I had a bad experience with one young woman and I made them aware of it.

They needed to have been more directed and have initiative versus waiting for us to tell them what to do. We needed them to take some of the burden off of us but we had to give them directions. They needed to charge less, have more trained caregivers, and better office communication.

Their company policy says their employees are required to wear masks and none of the caregivers did that. If they could commit to following up on their promises. If they promise to help with certain things, they should do that and they didn't.

My parents have a hard time wrapping their head around what the aides are supposed to do, but the nurse is excellent with the medication management. They are very reliable, and I can always get a hold of someone. They are very responsive.

My loved one was totally helpless, and I needed someone who could give me a break, and when the people they sent were here, I could not take that break that I needed.

I find too that BrightStar Care provides different caregivers often and that is hard on my mom. BrightStar Care has made life easier because I am not sure what we would do without them.

I think that a lot depends on the personality of the caregiver that BrightStar Care sends. As long as my mother-in-law's health remains the same, I don't see the need for more help from BrightStar Care. Right now we are just maintaining the status quo.

The service helped tremendously because while I was in South Carolina, I had to make sure that my father was taken care of. They provided twelve hour shifts to make sure he was fresh, and they also provided medication management. They assisted with that process.
