We used Heavenly Care recently when my stepdad was sent home with hospice. Their staff was very responsive, caring, reliable and trustworthy. They really care and established a relationship with my family and helped my mom through some of the hardest times of her life. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing in home care. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!

I highly recommend Heavenly Care! They literally saved my life!!! I was exhausted physically and mentally from caring for my terminally ill husband. They came the very day I called and began service that night. Every single person I dealt with was highly qualified, professional and caring. They took such good care of husband, as well as me and the whole family!!!! They worked closely with Hospice to make sure that he stayed as comfortable as possible and helped make his last days calm and painfree. I will be forever grateful to them!!!!

I can run errands and things like that. It's basically better for our relationship because sometimes it gets a little cumbersome. I like that all the people we have had are very dedicated and knowledgeable about what my husband needs. I like the way they interact with him.

Another family member hired the agency. I did not feel the agency was a good fit as the workers weren't allowed to do a lot of what we need caregivers to do. I met with Alice (owner) and asked about them terminating services. She said she would if I asked her to. A few days later I asked her to terminate and she refused. They promised continuity but out of about 22 shifts we had about 18 different workers. I requested a report after each shift directly from the worker for medical reasons and NEVER got one. I called supervisors and got 2-3 reports. A supervisor asked me to draw up what I wanted in the report and leave it for the workers. I did. Not one ever reported. Supervisors refused to call me after I was assured one would call me. My parent got a stage 1 bedsore after one worker was on duty. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. I asked for the last names of caregivers and was questioned like this was unreasonable. No caregiver was allowed to give their phone number. Seemed more about money. They were to bathe my parent and didn't always. Workers did the minimum of changing position every two hours possibly.

They told me that they would work to match someone with her, and it took them a long time to do that. I felt like they were sending random people to our house, and they weren't educated on her.

I normally don't use services like that. The driver was on time, the driver did everything they were supposed to, and went above and beyond. She also took me to get something to eat on my way home. It was my first time using their service but everyone that I spoke to was so professional and so nice and they explained the actual process from the time they would pick me up until the time that they would bring me back home. I really felt self-secure throughout the whole process of using their service. It was great.

It depends on the day. Sometimes they are doing well, and sometimes they do poorly. It also depends on the person. I know the scheduler works hard, but there were a lot of snafoos the first month of using them. They would have trouble replacing the caregiver when she couldn't work.

Having a third person here in the house has made a huge difference. I do have to make accommodations for them to be here though. They also have some troubles moving my wife and making her feel comfortable. I would like for them to provide better training for their caregivers in order for me to better recommend them.

My mom wasn't easy and not wanting someone else. They are not very receptive. When I called to make the appointment, then the caregiver knew how to get into the house and didn't bring gloves. They need better coordination.

I currently have a caregiver who is paid for by my long-term health care. I have a young man from Heavenly Caregiver Service. After the interview, Gerry (my husband) and me, they said, 'I believe we have the perfect person.' So we met him and we probably had him for almost a month now. He comes in to help my husband with his needs and stays with him for five hours a day, six days a week. He would bathe him, dress him, shave him, and clean him up when he has an accident. He even drives us where we have to go because we are in our 70s. He is like part of the family now. I don't know what I would do without him. He has changed our lives. He is so quiet and non-intrusive with family matters. His attitude really mixes well with my husband's personality.
