I am a past client of this provider

I had Hep-C which was cured with 12 weeks of a pill once a day. BUT!!! I was told the damage was done to my liver already and there was nothing they could do. The Dr. whom the nurses report to and get ok's or no's is a low rated no good Dr. She actually laughed for 30 seconds or more when I reported something to my nurse that had happened to me. Another time, she was so callus as to say he's dying anyway. She refused to leave my meds alone and push something else on me after me telling them I feared the drug as I know people who have died using it. My nurse Patty however was one of the best I had ever had in my life. Too bad she works for that Dr. and her hands were tied. I will miss Patty and her very good nursing skills. If only they would change the Dr. who seems to have a personal problem with the dying. Thanks a lot Patty!!! You were great. I hope everyone see's this as they would be happy to have such a talented and knowledgeable nurse as Patty!!! Except for Patty I wouldn't even give 1 star!

Lacked compassion and skills. Did not provide their advertised services, the patient suffered greatly. Found the staff and management to lack respect, found them to be rude and insensitive. It appeared they cared more about getting money than caring for the people. I felt at times the staff lacked the skill level needed for a facility as this. They had no respect for life and death. They were stone cold.

These are not nice people. Our loved one suffered greatly due to their lack of compassion, caring and skill level. We are scarred for life by their inadequacies. I will have nightmares for the rest of my life. Management is filled with horrible people who will do and say anything to excuse their mistakes. They care more about making money than about your loved one. Don't be fooled. Their fundraisers look like they care about you. They do not care about you. They care about the money you will pay them. Do not leave your loved one's side, not even for a minute. If you care about your person, this is not the place or the people. I am being nice with my words. I am sorry for you if this is the place you will be.

St Francis has done a terrific job at what is a difficult time for any family they provide for your family many things just besides patient care. I do not think my family could have gotten through without the nurses the chaplin and other support that you dont even realize that you will need ans they really really care. thank you St Francis

My mother was diagnosed in late April 2020 with stage 4 aggressive cancer. She fought a valiant fight and was brought home at the end to be with those she loved most through the end. This hospice was great. No complaints. If I had it to do over again I would choose them hands down. However - once mom passed and they processed the death certificate, they have listed that she had cancer for 2 years, not the actual 5 months that she had it. I have contacted them multiple times each month asking them to get this corrected. I was my mom's medical POA and was in charge of her healthcare at home and getting everything scheduled to get her everywhere she needed to be while trying to fight it. I am not confused, this is inaccurate information. I do not care that it is listed on her death certificate - HOWEVER if you are going to list something, get it right. I still await a corrected death certificate. We are taking her body to Arlington National Cemetery for burial next month (yes, six months after passing, it is a long wait to get in) and horrifically I am still fighting this fight to get her death certificate corrected. This should be a simple thing to do. I can give you every doctor's name that took care of her including the one in the ER that diagnosed her with the stage 4 cancer up at Mayo hospital in JAX. This is making me have to keep thinking about her death and it is really really not appreciated. So, hospice care? Outstanding 5+ stars. Administratively? NIGHTMARE which continues for me and my father now going on five months trying to get this resolved, we are ready to be finished fighting this ridicules fight.

Wonderful, caring people at Saint Francis, I am so thankful for them and the support they provided to my Dad in his final weeks.
