VNA of Texas Hospice service took care of my father in the last weeks of his life. Calling in VNA was the best thing we could have done for him and the rest of the family. Dad was happy and comfortable in his own home, surrounded by family and without the constant turmoil of being in a hospital. Mom was also comfortable in her own home instead of sitting in a hospital room all day. The VNA people were kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and did everything possible to keep Dad comfortable.

About Visiting Nurse Association of Texas in Dallas, Texas

Helping patients regain their health and independence while remaining in their own homes for as long as safely possible is at the heart of Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) services. Caring, listening, and responding to our patients' quality of life and comfort issues, and those of their family and loved ones, is the hallmark of VNA services. Lengthy hospital stays following illness or injury are no longer affordable and patients often recover more slowly in an institutional environment.

VNA Home Health Care allows people who have acute or chronic health problems to receive care at home in familiar surroundings with family and friends nearby. Available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and home health aides work with patients in their homes.
