My mom was staying in an independent living facility. The building that this independent living facility was in also has a separate facility that they call "personal care" and this one was run by a home health agency that was a separate entity from that facility. When my mom broke her hip, she needed to be in a wheelchair and needed a little more help than the independent living facility can provide for her. So they put her over their "personal care" side just because it was easy and a room was available. The facility recommended Seasons as a home health provider for her. So we were paying the room and also Seasons for her home care. However, I didn't like Seasons that much. My mom was not getting as much help with them because they were spending all their time with other more feeble patients, but we were all paying the same amount of money. Also I gave them the medicines for my mom with my handwritten instructions, they just took them and started administering them and I thought that they should at least double check with a doctor if she was actually prescribed these medications. They never did that. They just took my word for it. I had no problem with the actual building or the actual facility. It was the Seasons that was managing my mom's personal care that I had some issues with.
