I am a past client of this provider
My choice would be Elmhurst Home Health In Illinois. They are very "in tune" with your needs, very caring, & follow up with you. This is my story. I've been invited to a memorial service in April, & they called & told me about it. My story: My dad passed away from Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He didnt want to go thru chemo again (he was 93). He wanted to die at home. I did my best to keep him comfortable, got him Netflix of all old movies unitl he lost control of his legs. He was then bedboung and seemed to lose interest in everything. he had no appetite except for hot cereal early in the day. We had home health nurses check on him twice a week. Things just went from bad to worse, & he slept constantly. I think he picked his own time to go. I took a nap at 6:30pm, & by 7,my husband woke me and said he was gone. I stayed there crying & holding his hand until Home Health arrived and made the arrangements. I still have the pangs of guilt. Why did I take a nap? I still havent gotten over it, he passed 6 mos ago. I still have crying jags that last for hours. I miss him terribly.
