Cogir of Vancouver was my favorite so far. The tour was good. The staff I met were all pleasant. I ate lunch there, and it was good. They're not big meals, but seniors don't need as big as I did. And I was so impressed with the staff and that dining room. I was there a little while, and they greeted everyone by name and were very cordial like, 'Can I get you a dessert? These are choices.' And they were like that to everyone. I was very impressed by the waitstaff. The common area was nice. They're lacking a few amenities now, and it's nothing against them, it's just how it is there. They don't have as many options for food there either. It's good for what it is.

Cogir of Vancouver was very nice inside and more modern. They did have a 1-bedroom apartment, and it was very clean. There were residents out and about, and it looked like they were happy. The staff who showed me around was very knowledgeable. He was very pleasant, very professional, and very nice. They had a cafe, and they had a buffet with a sit down place. I really liked that they had different amenities like that. They had a courtyard, a beauty salon, and a movie theater.

Cogir of Vancouver seemed really nice and a little bit more modern than the other one. It seems like a little newer, but it was more expensive also. It was more than my dad could afford at this time. The staff who gave me the tour was knowledgeable, friendly, and nice. There's a lot of activities, groups, game nights, and social hours, stuff that my dad would be able to be a part of. I did not try the food, but the menu looked good, there was a lot of options.

We toured Cogir of Vancouver. It was fabulous. Christopher took us through the tour. Beautiful facilities. They are very clean and very nice. It was like having a small apartment. It was nice. The food looked delicious. They keep them busy. We are very pleased with that one. They have a theater and a nice restaurant. They have a very good menu that they gave us to review with my mother-in-law. They have a big fireplace. It's very homey. While we were waiting for the staff to come and get us, we talked to three ladies there and they were just giggly. They love it so much. They have friends and activities. They have a bus that they take outings in. It is a beautiful place. The staff was very nice. It's just good and a very nice environment. They have very nice rooms. It's a very good layout. It's a rectangle with a courtyard, and so it's got a lot of rooms.

I visited Cogir of Vancouver. I thought that the person that gave the tour was not very nice. It turns out we had to have memory care anyway, which is why we couldn't even do it. The place was nice. It was more the attitude. The dining looked good, way better than the other place. The surroundings were nice and pretty, with trees and stuff. The inside was also nice. The food looked really good. You could get food all day. They had a sit-down place to eat with a menu and stuff, so it looked really good. They had nice outside areas.

My dad is now living in Cogir of Vancouver. I like that the community is just the right size. They also provide the services that we needed. From the places that we toured, they were the most descriptive of the services that they provide. He is impressed with the staff there. They are all very friendly, and you can tell that they know what they are doing. Overall, it was really important that he has the services that he needs at the right price. They were competitively priced compared to some of the other places. They weren't significantly lower, but they were more affordable; it was a big factor as well. The room is spacious and set up for a senior who has problems walking without a walker. His room is really nice. It is a studio with a dining area, a kitchenette, and bedroom. There is plenty of open space to maneuver around for someone with issues walking. He is very picky, and he said he enjoys the food. They have a lot of options. You are able to eat between 7 AM and 6 PM when they have the cafeteria open. Each room has a kitchen with storage for snacks and a microwave. Yesterday, I personally saw there was a beanbag competition going on. They advertise that they have a virtual reality system there, and they do golf, bowling, and volleyball. They also take people on a lot of tours, such as wine tours. They plan trips to the beach. My dad just moved in. We have been in communication over the past couple of weeks just to make sure the paperwork was in. They've been very forthcoming and forward. There were no hidden fees and no surprises. The day that we were there, we got a lot of help moving in. It is large community, and they have the independent, assisted, and memory care separated. They allow the residents to decorate their doors, so it has a home feel. They have a lot of activity options. The calendar is full for the month of gatherings, movies, physical activities, and trips. It is definitely worth the money that we're paying.
