I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband was in Park Shore for rehab for one month. It's a full care facility, from independent living to nursing community and rehabilitation. It was really good, and I'd like my husband to be there, but they didn't have any rooms. They had to take their clients first before they can take anyone from the outside, but they loved him and he loved them, too. Even though they managed to vaccinate everyone twice, they wouldn't let me in the front door. My husband came out of there fully vaccinated. He also had occupational and physical therapy. They helped him to a point where he could not even stand on his own to be able to walk in a cane.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Our parents have been at Parkshore for over 5 years. Yes, the food is consistently good and the setting and view are fabulous. While staff are generally kind, we find the place to be quite dysfunctional in terms of communication around critical elements like residence options for a couple and quality of care. They put much more into marketing and attracting tenants than into serving those already there. The 2nd floor nursing care rooms are drab and depressing. Having spent some time at other centers since our parents moved to Parkshore, I would describe the vibe at Parkshore as stiff and disorganized, I would pick any of the other homes we considered over this one, Unbelievable price tag for modest quality.

I visited this facility

Park Shore was beautiful, and they are in the state of transition because they’re making their units larger. I visited their physical therapy program, and I also had a meal there; the food was excellent.

I visited this facility

It's being remodeled to our specs, and we're moving in soon to Park Shore. It has the greatest views around. It's upscale. It's not dominated by people who make you feel older. It's in the middle of Madison Park, which is a nice little community away from the big city, but still close. It got all the amenities you want -- banks, Starbucks, good restaurants -- in a small community. Staff is first class all around. The only problem is parking for anybody that visits you.

Visited this facility

This facility has a million dollar view of Lake Washington from the Madison Park area of Seattle. The individual apartments are beautiful and most with stunning views. The caregivers are very considerate and patient. We love the staff who provide top notch care...we have no complaints. The only drawback is trying to find parking in this neighborhood which is fairly typically for just about anywhere in Seattle.
