Ware Presbyterian Village's individual cottages were very well laid out and the maintenance was very nice. The landscaping outside was very nice and the people we met were very friendly. It seemed like they have a lot of activities, but the one thing they lack is a swimming pool.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
We chose Ware Presbyterian Village for my father because it was closer. It's certainly something I would recommend to somebody. It just felt like such a warm and welcoming place. They took their time with us, showed us everything, and answered any questions we had. We just felt like my father would like it there and it felt like home. It's just been a wonderful experience so far and everyone could not be nicer. My dad is in a good place. They've got a pool, a workout room, a putting green, and several little garden areas. It's wonderful and they have a lot of activities for my dad to participate in.

I am a friend or relative of resident
My mother, who turned 100 last month, has been in rehab at Ware. To say that she had poor care is an understatement. The family had to repeatedly ask for a conference (5 phone messages and 20 phone calls), she didn't receive 4 of her medications (including her heart medicine), they forgot to feed her breakfast and didn't serve the food from the menu that she and the dietitian worked on, lost some of her clothes and one of the staff grabbed her arm as she was going towards the bathroom and said "you're not moving fast enough." There seems to be no management and no one seems to know what's going on.

Ware Presbyterian Village was a beautiful community. It’s very clean and accessible. A lot of attention was given to making sure that the residents are comfortable and get what they need; they have ease of access. They have brand new apartments as well so that is very beautiful. Overall, it’s very nice. Their food is good. The staff was OK. With regard to their activities I know they have a pool and exercise classes.

Ware Presbyterian Village is kind of homey. It’s cottage-type and surrounded by some rural areas. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and try to do whatever they can to please you. I saw the menu and talked to some people who have eaten there and were pleased. They have a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a library. I thought everything just kind of fell into place, so I was very pleased with it.

We are very satisfied with Ware Presbyterian Village. We were satisfied with what we ate at their cafeteria; though it is not the food that they serve to their patients. The staff were very good, and caring. They have activities like bingo, and a lot of other different things.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My daughter has been at Ware Presbyterian Village for almost 3 years, and I’ve been there plenty. It’s close, and the administration is very friendly. Most of the staff are good people. It’s an older place; they’ve been upgrading and building other parts to it. My daughter is in an older part. I don’t mind the oldness of it; it has more of a homey feeling.
The food doesn’t look bad. I made a friend there, and she’s my adopted mother; she really likes the bingo. I know they have a bell-ringing thing, and my daughter likes to get out and listen to that. They could play music in the halls for the people so it’s more friendly.
