Springfield Senior Living was very clean, and the workers there were very professional. I liked how engaged they were with the residents. They showed me the activity room. I noticed that the residents were involved in activities. They were in the dining room, they were watching TV, and they were doing things. Then the apartment itself was very nice. The only criticism I can think of is maybe renovation of the apartments like with the cabinets or something like that, but other than that, everything was very nice. I like it a lot. The staff was very professional and informative. She gave me a folder with all the information in it. I didn't have to ask any questions because all the information was in the folder.

Springfield Senior Living was cute on the inside, it felt homey, and the staff was nice. The person who gave me the tour was great. She was very informative and patient with us and took us around. Their studio apartment was an adequate size, and certainly enough for what you need. We didn't dine there, but we saw the dining area, it looked a little less dining and more like a hospital cafeteria.

My wife is currently in Springfield Senior Living. I'm very satisfied and very happy with the staff in the facility. I feel very comfortable with my loved one being there. The staff are very attentive, very caring, and very friendly, not only with my loved one, but they seem to be like that with all the residents there. The food is pretty good from what I've seen. They would get nice portions and nice variety. I know they have activities daily. I haven't been through the whole building. They have a library, a TV room, and a recreation room. They have a room where they can go and exercise.

Springfield Senior Living is a good facility. It was very close to the neighborhood. What I didn't like was their snack bar because it's all old snacks in there. I toured their assisted living. Their coordinator was very professional, but when I came into the facility, the young lady at the desk just wasn't professional. Maybe she needs some training. Their cafeteria was not open, and the building wasn't modernized. They are still eating in their rooms. They are already isolated to a point, so that's a concern of mine. I didn't see any dirt, but it was just a basic facility. It wasn't pleasing. My thing is curbside appeal is everything; it just wasn't up to my standards. The location is good though because it's in the neighborhood, so it's convenient. It's also near a hospital.

We chose Springfield Senior Living Community for my parents since a lot of places are not accepting new residents due to the virus. We got lucky and found a place that would accept them. Initially they went there and it was just a basic three-story building. The first floor has the assisted living part. There's actually two parts to the place, there's the Springfield senior living part, and also the part where you can come back to do rehab. Their staff is pretty attentive and they are on the ball because they saw that my mom had a stroke. There are some small issues, like we're trying to get a hold of them because of medication and things like that, but initially they were difficult. Most of the time we're able to get a hold of people, it's just that sometimes it takes a little while for them to answer back. We can't go in there, but we can go into the lobby and the staff will bring her to us. The inside part of the facility, from what I can tell, is pretty clean and it doesn't have any sort of funky smells. It's a little bit dated, but inside it's OK.

Our experience having my mother in Springfield Senior Living so far is good. I like that they have their own rooms, they're large rooms and they can bring things in to sort of personalize their rooms. There aren't a lot of people there. My mother is happy and she has met some friends which is a plus. And she hasn't had any complaints so far. The rooms are like senior dorms which are large rooms with their own bathrooms and large windows, some of the rooms also have balconies. The staff seems pretty cool, though I haven't really gotten in there the way I want to because of the COVID. But normally they have movies, they do bingo, day trips to the mall and activities like that. They also have a library, a beauty salon, a barber shop and a little store.
