I visited Springhill and it's expensive. It was a small apartment, it wasn't one of the larger ones, their entry fee was $147,500. Staff was wonderful and people were happy there. They have to be crazy people to spend that much money to get in because then you spend equivalent money on a monthly basis for rent. That's just a walk through the door now you can get 50% of that back, but that's still a huge investment and you'd lose a lot of interest from your money. It's a very exclusive place and I didn't really see that it was all that great. I think the furnishings are very lovely, and you have a washer and dryer in your apartment, but I'm very short and if something gets stuck in the back, it was the frontloader, I wouldn't be able to reach the back of the washer that's on the top. The stack with the washer on the top and dryer on the bottom. And sometimes, when your washing them, clothes cling to the drum, and I wouldn't be able to reach it. I would have to have a stool there, so having the washer and the dryer really wasn't that big of a deal for me.
The layout is good. It's still kind of typical because you have the halls and the rooms off the hall but it's nice.
You go to the cafe and you buy your lunch. It's just so expensive. That's all I can say about Springhills; it's expensive. The facility is lovely, the staff is fine, but they don't serve any food.
