My parents are at The Palms of Largo in the Regal Palms building. They've only been there for a week. My parents are very happy and the staff is very good. They're fabulous. The food is excellent. The community is very nice. I don't have any negative to say about it. They have worked hard with us to help with the transition and supply us with all our needs to make the move nice and smooth for them. They are working hard to include them and get them active and participating in the activities that they have at the facility. Everything is five-star. They've done a great job. It's a very good facility. We're very happy that we found it for them. They're easy to work with and they've been very accommodating. They have different floor plans. We chose the larger one-bedroom floor plan for my parents. Two of them are in the same room. They have a parlor where they have afternoon ice cream, coffee, and popcorn. They have a TV where they play sports. They have a beautiful courtyard. They have a pool and hot tub access at the other building that they can use. They just have to follow the walkway to the pool. They have a library with computer access. They have the dining room that's open from 7:30 in the morning until 6:30 at night. They can go at any time during those hours of operation and order breakfast or lunch any time during the day. They have activities, church services, and van trips scheduled. Every other Monday, they go to Walmart and on the opposite Monday they go to the Largo Mall. Every Friday, they have a van that goes to Publix, and in between, they have dinner and lunches scheduled out throughout the month that the residents can sign up for to go. Every single night, they have a movie at 6:15. They have people that come in for certain activities that they can sign up for to attend. They have pizza night and a movie. They have a room that has stationary bikes that they can go to and use. They also have an exercise class every morning and they usually do chair volleyball, Bingo, or Scrabble night. They have a men's club and they play cards on Thursdays. My mom needs medical care and they have nursing on staff, so it is a little costly.

I was excited to find that they have a 3 bed room floor plan, as I was hoping to move my Mom there & live there as well. it's great that they include 2 meals a day & weekly housekeeping. But mind you, these units do not have Washer/ Dryer hookups and any other services are a la carte. I am disappointed to learn that the monthly fee for 2 people in a 3 bd rm plan is $6,225! In my opinion, that is both Outrageous & Usery. And to top it off, you are a month to month tenant with none of the protections of a lease.

I saw the Regal Palms of Largo. They have beautiful buildings and professional staff. But they have outdated kitchenettes and smoke detectors, and that's the reason why I would never consider being there. It's a great location, the building closest to the main road is fully independent, then there's a building behind it that's assisted living. Then another building is nursing, and then there's a mental care unit. So as your health declines, you change buildings, and I didn't like that. So it's not exactly aging in place as health deteriorates since you change buildings. They also have a whole bunch of garden apartments on the side. Some of the rooms were gorgeous, airy, and light, and some seemed very dated and have old smoke detectors. They seem to have a good amount of activities, and a trolley cart goes down the hallway to offer snacks and check on residents.

My wife and I are staying in Regal Palms and I think it's a first-class facility. Our apartment is very comfortable and we enjoy the bingo very much. We have not been here long enough to check all things out, but the food is very good. It's plentiful and the service is excellent. It's incredibly comfortable here and we feel very, very safe.

I visited this facility

My sister-in-law is moving into Regal Palms. We toured the assisted living part. As far as the staff, the facility, I would give it an A plus across the board. The rooms are beautiful, from what I could see the whole staff is excellent, they've got a bunch of amenities, more amenities than the other places that we saw, and everything that they would need is right there, from doctors on hand to household staff. The layout, everything inside, it smells good, it's clean, beautiful inside and out, and the grounds are beautiful. That to me is probably the best place I've seen of all the places I've looked at.

The Palms of Largo is beautiful, has a caring staff, the facility is outstanding, and very well maintained. They have lots of activities for memory care. Part of the price goes to Medicaid, which is a huge benefit for us. My mother's room is absolutely beautiful and literally brand new. They just remodeled it with fresh paint, fresh flooring, and new doors. She's happy with the food. The dining area is stunning. They have live music, games, coloring activities, movies, they take them offsite for different events, they go to the park, shopping, and have dexterity workshops. There's a great value there.

The Palms of Largo was very large. It had a big campus with many buildings and independent living has its own building. All their buildings had dining rooms and it had an outdoor pool and very beautiful grounds and landscape. The person during the tour was very good. They had many shuttle services to various doctors and shopping and many activities as well. It was very clean and very homey. The food was very good. The continuing care is very thorough. You can go from assisted living over to nursing facility.

The Palms of Largo was beautiful. They even have a store that's open 24-hours a day where you can buy pretty clothes and gifts for people, jewelry, whatever it is that you need, and the person at the front desk mans that. There were lots of different rooms where if you wanted to kind of get away or have a small group or visit with family, you could do that. They have a beautiful elegant room that you can rent for birthday parties and things like that. They also have amenities in different buildings and there is a golf cart that will shuttle you over to get blood work done or to take you to concerts. There is a really nice lake there and it has benches at four points around it. My mom really liked that. She looked at a studio, which was beautiful and very roomy. It had a full kitchen with a stove, a built-in table that you could use as a table or a desk, a walk-in closet that was huge, and a huge bathroom. We were so close to going ahead and doing that with her, but the price was an issue. They have an outdoor screened-in patio as well. They allow pets, so some of the screened-in patios on the first floor have a door that goes right outside, which is nice if you have a pet. If you put a deposit down, you are put on a waiting list and you're allowed to come and join any of the activities and do any of the amenities there. It's nice because that helps her get to know people and get a comfort level with the place, with the people, and maybe make some friends before you even move in. I liked that opportunity as well.

My parents are in Regal Palms. It is spotless. It is heavily staffed with very caring people. It is the best place I have seen, and I have seen a lot in this area. None of them can compare to this place. The place smells fantastic. It smells like a five-star hotel, and it looks like one too. My parent's room is large and spacious, and everything is new. They have daily activities like art class, exercise classes, and trips. Their food is like in a five-star restaurant.

They didn't tell me my step father died!!!!! My mom and step dad lived here for almost two years. I visited 6 times. I live in California . I met the people that worked there. My mom passed away July 7 2016. 44 days later I could get a hold of my step father, I called the front desk and asked if they knew where my step father was, that he hasn't answered his phone. They said I had to call a family member, I am a family member, my brother called my sister called. Nothing they would tell us nothing. I finally found out, through other means that he died! He passed away and we didn't get to go to his funeral because the palms would not tell us he died!! Not let your loved one stay here. It's is so sad, my step father was a great man and we didn't know. We called for a week. It's so upsetting

The Palms of Largo was a very nice place. I looked at a 2-bedroom apartment on the second floor which was really nice. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and it’s a nice size and has 2 walk-in closets, but at almost $3,600 a month, it's expensive. It is very clean, and people are very friendly. The traffic is just kind of a game-changer for me.

I have a lovely apartment here at Regal Palms. My wife is in a different apartment, so we always eat dinner together. I've been to some of the outings. I have access to a full gym, and I just stroll around the place.

Regal Palms was expensive, nice, and very large. It had a living room and nice grounds where they had a little farmers' market. They did basic activities and had clubs and outings. Nothing there stood out from the others we visited. The lady who gave us the tour was very nice. The food was nothing special.

My first impression of Regal Palms is wonderful. The people are very friendly and do the best with what they can offer you. We are on a big campus and have a different building for each type of senior living needs. They have independent, assisted, a building for physical therapy and those who are bedridden, and a classroom for children. It is a wonderful place. The food is good. They have activities morning, noon, and night, like puzzles, card games, mahjong, bridge, entertainers, and all sorts of activities. They have jewelry making, crafts, a day to do your nails, and free transportation to whenever you need to go. We have three meals a day and get to choose whatever we want to eat. If it's not on the menu, you tell them what you want, and they'll prepare it for you. In the hallway, we have washers and dryers. They also do your bed, linens, and towels, and vacuum your room once a week.

The Palms of Largo is a lovely, nice community. My friend has a one-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen, dining area, and living room that she's very happy with there. The atmosphere is very upbeat with very active residents. My friend uses the library often and does exercises. They bring the residents to church on Sundays.

My mother is now on the waiting list of the Palms of Largo. She chose it because she felt comfortable there. She liked the apartment, the amenities, and the grounds, and it was affordable. There really wasn't anything she didn't like. The room was 700 sq. ft. and had a full kitchen, a living room, a screened in patio, a big bathroom, a bedroom with big walk-in closet, plus a regular closet as well. Everybody was friendly. They have a welcome program, so they fix you up with a buddy to take you around, take you to dinner, show you where everything is, and introduce you to people.

This facility is marketed as a memory care unit but does not do memory care. I pulled my wife out of the facility ---she is doing much better in another memory care unit that really does memory care.

I am familiar with Regal Palms because we have had some friends staying there. For me, it's a little bit distant and not ideal to be visiting. It's about 5 miles from where I live. But the place itself and the accommodation is excellent. I like the people. They are friendly and helpful. The place is clean. It's an ideal residence for older people.

Mom moved to Regal Palms on March 5th. My sister seemed to like it better, and it seemed nice enough. The people were very friendly, so I think it's easy to get acclimated there. They provide everything she needs. She has a one-bedroom apartment with her own kitchenette. It's fairly spacious and clean. The food was pretty good. I think the staff is OK. Everybody seemed to be very easy to work with. She has done a couple of activities there.

The Palms of Largo was like a hotel resort. It was furnished and gorgeous. They had big aquariums with tropical fished and the residents could sit and watch. Each resident has their own bedroom but they shared a little sitting area. The dining room was beautiful and the grounds were impeccable. They had a spa and entertainment every week among other activities. There were a lot of people there and the place was packed. The price was cheaper than the other facility but my mom had Medicaid and they did not accept it. However, they charged more if she needed more assistance. I wanted her to be there if only they would take Medicaid.

My husband stayed at The Palms of Largo for two months and one week. The facility was gorgeous and they had exercises for people with Parkinson's disease. They also had different levels of care so if I decided I wanted to be near him, I would just get an apartment for me. A lot of seniors did that so they would be near their spouses. The staff was good and there was a nursing station in every floor. Whenever I called, they responded right away. It was like a resort with an indoor pool, huge exercise room and dining rooms in each floor.

My uncle had a wonderful life at Regal Palms from active assisted living to memory care. He made many friends and was so busy he didn't have time to visit with me! I can highly recommend both their assisted living area and their memory care unit.
