I visited this facility
I visited Westbrooke. It was nice. However, it wouldn't have worked for my dad because it was too big. It would be a good place for more active people. It's big with more people around, so it wouldn't have worked for my dad. I only met one staff member, and he was very nice. The rooms were very similar to what we've seen in another facility.

The staff at Westbrooke Manor was friendly and gave my Mother the utmost respect and courtesy during her stay with them. The rooms were bright and cheerful, the landscaping was beautiful. Mother was given a menu so as she could choose her meals, and given the option of different snacks if she got hungry between meals. The staff had organized outings; Mother was taken to the theatre on Saturday afternoons; taken to a lovely Church service on Sunday morning; she was taken shopping with other ladies of her age group; they even had a senior prom, with pictures and dancing! There was a beautician and a manicurist on the staff to help her keep looking her best at all times. Help was always available when needed with just the push of a button. Cable tv in her room gave her all of her favorite programming in the evenings. She also had a phone in her room so as she could stay in touch with her friends and family. Westbrooke Manor isd a shining example of what an assisted living facility should be.

my mother recently moved into westbrooke manor coming from a rehab facility,Mother is age 97 and was a bit aprehensive as her previous try at assisted living didnt go very well.My wife and I were amazed at the welcome mother received .At least eight staff came into mothers room and put her at ease. One young staff member whose mother and aunt (all three stopped in)also work at westbrooke was more than kind ! I called mother that evening when I arrived back home and mother said at meal time, the chefs came out to her table and introduced themselves.Mother also has a roommate to keep her company.

Westbrooke Manor is a medium sized ALF in Zephyrhills FL. Once you enter this building you notice that it is a modest ALF. The staff did not appear happy in my opinion, but they were helpful. Each resident is encouraged to bring their originality with them to their new home. Most of the apartments are furnished with the residents personal furniture. Their activities department is phenomenal. There are meals served three times a day and they appeared to be very appetizing. The lighting in this building seemed minimal to me though. There was plenty of parking available/
