Heritage Tomball was a nice facility. I like the staff there. I like that they offer a small living area separate from the bedrooms and it had a little kitchenette, so that was nice. I like that they had white tablecloths on the tables in their dining area. It's very nice. They showed me a list of their activities. They have physical therapy there onsite, and they have a beauty shop as well.

The place stinks of animal urine and is dirty we saw many big cockroaches. The staff is always rushing and doesn't take time to be gentle or patience. The top manager is rude and condescending, he is always right instead of the residents and this is their home. The staff is burnt out you can tell just by the lack of effort put in.

We really didn't think Heritage Tomball was very good. The staff was fine. There was no problem with the staff. The units looked OK. It just felt very old and it had a little bit of a musty odor to it at the time, so we really didn't like it at all. The staff was very nice.

Very High staff turnover. They don't take care of staff - and thus the residents don't get taken care. New director, higher fees, charge for EVERYTHING! Aides we have had have been great - but they are all gone! Facility is old hospital and it shows. Needs to e updated.

Heritage Tomball was a good facility. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very polite and showed me everything. The room that I saw was kind of small. The dining area looked like an average dining area. Some of the residents were in the TV room, and some were doing exercises.

When I visited Heritage Tomball, I saw residents active, happy and socializing. So, I liked that. The room is pretty much the same as other places, you bring your own furniture, and you supply all your personal items. They have three meals a day. They have a place where they can sit outside, and they have a place where they can stand up and garden where they have raised beds. If they want to help with gardening, they can do that. They do have outdoor activities for them when the weather is nice.

We went over to Heritage Tomball at about 11:00, and we walked into a singer entertaining a group. It was a great visit. Mary took us around. The food looked great, plus they have some ala carte items you can order. They had a couple of people tell me it was really good. The rooms we saw were adequate. They just have one or two bedrooms and they were both adequate for what you would want. They have activities. They take people around. They have people come in from time to time. Everyone we saw seemed quite happy. It's just that we're not quite ready to move, so we decided that we just wouldn't move. But we like the place. It was very nice, and it was clean. The place is big. They have two exercise rooms. They have a librarythat looks pretty well stocked. It's big and adequate. They have game rooms. They have a pool table, a poker table, and a shuffleboard in one room. In the other room, they have exercise equipment. Then they have places for people to do puzzles or whatever they want to do. It's a good place. The staff was very knowledgeable. She gave us information and she gave us a folder to bring home. We didn't eat, but the food looked very good and smelled good, and they have several choices.

I had an in-person tour of The Heritage Tomball. The apartments were small for what I was looking for for my parents. The staff was beautiful. The staff and the people were fabulous. They gave me a menu, and it looked good. They gave me a full-blown tour. They were very polite, informative, and nice. The first apartment the staff showed me was a little outdated and a little musty-smelling.

The person I met at the Heritage Tomball was very nice and very informative. She showed me around and I just felt very comfortable with her. The room was nice and the fact that it would be more of a private room was very appealing. The dining area was also large, and I felt it was very nice and clean. So, I felt very good about the place. My mom prefers to eat her meals in her room, and they said that there wouldn't be a problem with that. So, pretty much they would cater to my mom and her preference. They also offer physical and occupational therapy with the doctor's prescription, even during respite care, which I thought was very nice. Plus, they have other activities available.

I visited a friend at The Heritage Tomball Senior Living and looked at it, but it's too far away. For him, it was great. They serve 3 meals a day. The staff is absolutely great, and they also had a private room for his birthday party. They have great food. It was fantastic.

We chose The Heritage Tomball Senior Living for my mother. It's like a 15 to 20 minute drive from my house. She's only been there three days, and I'm very, very pleased with it so far. The staff is extremely compassionate, extremely helpful, and I feel like so far, they've gone over and above. They're very, very caring and kind to my mom. The food appears to be good, they have a lot of choices, they have a daily menu, but they also have a separate menu called "always available", so if they don't like something on the daily menu, they have this other menu of things like a back up plan every single day. I would say that's their biggest strength, the food is good, and just a lot of offerings there. She has an incredible apartment, too. They cannot do very much due to COVID restriction. Pricing is very fair and excellent, and you get more for your money there than a lot of places in the area.

My mother moved into Heritage Tomball. It's not as expensive as the other ones in the area. The care is OK, and they put her in memory care. She's doing well. It's a huge place, there are people there that are good, and people that aren't. Mom is missing a bunch of stuff: her ID, her phone, they take her clothes, they wash them, they charge us $80 a month, and they bring back different ones. My wife was really upset this morning because she bought her a bunch of nice clothes and they're no longer there. They made changes to her care level without consulting us, so I went there to complain about it, and they said, "We probably should have called you first." So we had a bill for over $4,000 the second month (from a $2,700 bill the first month). They moved her to memory care for $3,500 all inclusive, but we have to buy her diapers, wipes, gloves, and all this stuff. My mom's mind is really bad, and she needs care, but if I had to do it all over again, I would have found a different place (knowing what I know now). I think mom likes the food.

My dad is now a resident of Heritage Tomball. It has been an easy and great transition. We have really appreciated not only the location and the staff, but the residents have just been very welcoming and just really appreciate the willingness of all of them. Both the staff and residents would stop and visit my dad and ask if there's something they can do. It's a very helpful and good place. Dad likes the food, so that says quite a bit. He loves his apartment, although he's concerned at first because it's a little bit smaller than where he's from. But now it just feels like the right size. They go to great lengths when it comes to their dining area, they have table cloths which is a great deal to dad because he kinda likes it fancy. But it looks nice. And we had a big celebration once he moved in with a bunch of family, and they had a separate area that they fixed up for him. It was really lovely. They have a lot of activities, although my dad is not an activities person so they don't appeal to my dad very much. There's always people coming and going, so there's always a hustle and bustle about them, and their activities calendar is full. I think we're getting a great deal. My dad hasn't been there that long so there were still things we haven't experienced all the way yet. But for now, for his level of care and everything that they've done, we are very pleased.

There were two people in Heritage Tomball who took my wife and me on a tour. We sat down and ordered off a menu, and it was pretty good. There were only three other people in the dining hall at 12:00. There were some elderly ladies who were all dressed up, and looked like they were ready to go shopping and stuff. We walked through the whole place and I didn't see anybody. The staff members who took us on the tour were OK. When you walk in, there's a staircase because the place was two stories, and kind of elaborate. They had a chef who I think was preparing special foodfor us; I don't think they feed the people that every day. There was nobody in the dining hall.

Heritage Tomball's staff is pretty good. The facilities were a little disjointed and very sectioned off though. The dining area had an open floor plan, but there was nothing special about it. It didn't seem very upbeat or cheerful. It had more of a hospital than a retirement home atmosphere.

The one-bedroom at Heritage Tomball was large enough for two people, and I liked that they had a lot of storage areas. The grounds were very nice, and they had ascending levels of care available so you don't have to leave and go to a nursing home when the time comes. The people were very nice, friendly and very informative. I thought the community was very nice and there were stores that you could walk to or make a short drive. I only wish they could add more pieces of exercise equipment. I didn't eat there, but the food looked OK.

My mother stayed at Heritage Tomball. It was very nice, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very clean but weren't very big. They had a bedroom area, living area, a little kitchenette and a bathroom, so it was a perfect size for just one person.

Heritage was good, except the response time when you call for help was 15 to 20 minutes, sometimes longer. The food was to be expected. We have Bingo and all sorts of games; however, very few participate. It's clean and well-maintained. We go down, and there's a big screen TV, they showed tapes and DVDs. The entertainment is adequate; it's fine.

Heritage Tomball was newer, spotlessly clean, and had a welcoming lobby. It is a larger complex with a wide range of services, but it was more expensive. A lot of the rooms had an outdoor patio area if you were on the first floor. The food was very appetizing. They had a full salad bar that people could stop and eat at pretty much any time of the day. They seemed to have a large of array of planned outings and activities.

I am going to The Heritage. I liked the location, and I wanted to be in Tomball, because my children all live in that area. I liked the amenities, the staff, and that it met my needs. They?re within a quarter of mile of Tomball Sports Center, where I went for years doing water therapy. I liked that the place is small with about 49 rooms. The dining area is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. They have walking activities, walking exercise, and aerobics. They have a room with exercise equipment, games, crafts, painting classes, and the usual stuff.

My husband was at The Heritage Tomball for quite a while. When we first went in, it was quite pleasant, and they took really good care of him. Then they moved him from assisted-living to another setup because he has Parkinson's, and a degenerative type thing. We had issues over stolen linens, and inappropriate making up of the bed with no covers for the mattress. I had bought $200 worth of linens that just disappeared, and they were using plastic bibs as underneath the sheet for waterproofing; which was ridiculous. I could never get ahold of the administrators. She was either not there or she was unavailable. She just would not respond to my calls. I just leave messages, and it was beginning to be quite an ordeal. We were not satisfied with what was going on. The dining room was nice, and he enjoyed the food. It wasn't the greatest though. With Parkinson's, he almost needs finger food because he can't handle a spoon for soup. They tried to accommodate him as best they could. He loved the activities, and he even learned to paint.

My mother has been at The Heritage Tomball for a week now. Starting out, it was a little rocky because we weren't on the same page as far as what to expect. There were things that we didn't really know about the process according to the paperwork that they gave us. My mother hasn't been there long enough to really see the process; however, from what I've seen so far, we like it. The only thing about it is communication. They lost things, like paperwork, so we had to give them the same paperwork maybe two or three times because they misplaced it. That's the only negative thing and that's to be expected.

The Heritage Tomball was bigger, but not as friendly. It was more hospital like and wasn't homey. I talked to Dr. Graham -- my mom's doctor -- who was one of the residents there. He said he sits at the dining table and eats by himself everyday, and I didn't like that. The apartment had a separate little sitting room with a wall that comes out to divide it into two parts. The other room was just a square room with a closet and a bathroom, but it had a little separate sitting room connecting to the living room. They didn't seem as warm or friendly as the other place. It was clean, but it was just too big, and they need to pull the people together with activities.

We chose The Heritage Tomball for my mother, and the care is going great. They are all very friendly and willing to help, and I don't have any complaints. I've looked at the little activity book; they always have bingo and exercise class like sitercise and chair yoga, and they have a painting class and crafty type class. They bring in different things every now and then; people come in and sing and do a little show for them. They'll take them to Wal-Mart or AGB. My only complaint has been the billing process. We've had a lot of problems with that part of it.

I didn't like The Heritage Tomball. It had a funny smell to it. I had a special meeting for caregivers there. I had called to RSVP and got all the way up there but they had cancelled. They had my file right in front of the telephone when I walked in and they said, "I'm sorry, we didn't get the chance to call you and say it's been cancelled." Their rooms were okay but they had a funny smell and that was the first thing that turned me off.

The Heritage Tomball Senior Living was built many years ago. I think some of their facilities looked a little tired. They were certainly cleaned and cared for, but I think that they just looked like needing a little more freshening maybe. However, I think they were in the process of doing that. Their rooms were not quite as spacious but they were fine. They did have washer-dryer in the unit, but they also would offer to do heavy laundry for you. Nevertheless, The Heritage was the one our mother-in-law liked the best. It wasn't the fanciest by any means, but she felt very comfortable there, and it was more home-like for her. We were very pleased and impressed, frankly. The lady who was to meet us that day was not available, so the maintenance director kind of stepped up and took us around. It was a Sunday afternoon and he wasn't the one who normally would give tours, but he gave us an excellent tour. When asked, he said he chose Heritage because of the people who run it. He said they were just really fine, caring people. He was very pleased to be there. I think that was a good recommendation for the facility, that the people who work there believe that those making management decisions and such are doing so in the best interests of the residents. We also visited an apartment of one of the ladies who was living there. She also was very pleased with this place. They have a full range of activities for their residents. It was a fairly active community. They have a nice variety of things for those who chose to live there.

The nurses on staff are very attentive. They noticed that my mother suddenly started having difficulty walking. The nurses started investigating. They found out that the doctor had prescribed too strong of a medication and immediately contacted the doctor. They conferred several times until they dosage was correct. If they had not been so aware of my mother's condition she would not be able to walk, because I thought this problem was the next stage in her Alzheimer's. The facility is also beautiful and well maintained. They know their patients and I appreciate that.

I was very happy when I found The Heritage and I'm sure I'll know more as we go along. One thing that made us decide to place my mother there is because it's within our financial bracket. I will never forget how welcoming and nice the staff were. They were always very attentive to their occupants and even joined them in games and activities. Most of the residents were elderly people who needed constant assistance due to physical/mental problems and I had never seen one staff member complain. The residents also seemed to enjoy living there and had formed an active and healthy community amongst each other. The facility was very clean and set up to look like an actual home to seem more inviting. The only thing negative I would have to say about the facility was that there were some residents that did seem to not enjoy living at the facility and they had said that the staff would sometimes pick favorites amongst the residents. So, that being said, some of the elderly residents weren't included in activities that they wanted to do or certain "cliques" of residents would alienate others. I feel it should be the staff's job to discourage these cliques from forming and making sure all their residents are fully included in activities/therapy conversations.

I visited this facility when I was going through training to become a certified nursing assistant through one of my high school honors classes. From what I saw, the staff is for the most part very friendly and upbeat. At other assisted living facilities I have been to, the staff was not very friendly. They would talk about the residents badly behind their backs and even to their faces. But, at The Heritage, this was not an issue. Not only do the residents get the respect they deserve but the employees do as well. They are very quick to meet the needs of residents. I don't think I ever saw a call light on for more than 2 or 3 minutes. They also do not lose their temper and are very calm with even the meanest of residents. I generally feel that all of the staff at The Heritage do not do their jobs strictly for the money but for the joy of helping the residents.
