I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Everyone at Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing is very friendly. They have a variety of activities throughout the day. They have a pet goat, which is really cool. They have bible study, games, and bingo. They go to different places, such as taking them out to McDonald's to get ice cream cones. They do crafts, exercises, play dominoes, and some sort of horse race. They also had theme parties. My mom is in the assisted living, but they also have memory care. You can move from one to the other without problems.

Provider Response

Thank you so much for your feedback! Our team here at Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing strives to provide a variety of engaging activities for all the residents. We are dedicated to creating a great home environment for all of our residents, and we really appreciate you for taking the time to leave us your kind remarks.

My stepfather moved into Harvest Home and Inwood Crossing. So far it’s good, and he’s been there a few days. It’s just a single room and the staff seemed nice. I have no complaints so far. They were friendly. They seem to have physical therapy as needed, and they have outside areas. The value is good and the location is as well.

Provider Response

We appreciate you taking the time to review our community, Robin! We're so glad to hear that you are having a positive experience thus far. If you would like to contact us, to let us know how we could receive a 5-star review from you in the future, that would be greatly appreciated as well. We are always happy to hear feedback on how we can improve our services. Thank you.

I visited this facility

Harvest Home was very clean and didn't smell. The people we met were nice. They were a little bit pricey and a little bit farther away than what we wanted.

I visited this facility

I picked Harvest Home and I'm trying to get my father in there. They were very nice, accommodating, helpful, and informative, calling to check up on things, and just seeing how things are. They're very nice in general. I don't have a bad thing to say about it. They have rooms and there's a memory care side. There are single rooms and rooms that they share with somebody.

I wasn’t really happy when new management came in at Harvest Home. The cleanliness and responsiveness wasn’t the same anymore. The staff needs to improve and be more attentive to the residents. There were roaches in my mother’s room, so they weren’t doing the extermination like they were supposed to. I found roaches and I mentioned to them about doing a fumigation, but the roach problem continued. There was a smell in her room and in the hallway coming from the rooms, so the cleanliness wasn’t as good. They need to improve their cleanliness. There were a lot of things that changed.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

The thing I liked the most about Harvest Home is they keep the residents busy. They have lots of activities. They have sing-alongs, bingo, Skip-Bo, trips to Wal-Mart every Wednesday, and trips to lunch every other Friday, and they have people come in and play music. They also have a general store; when you play the games, you win Monopoly money, and then once a month, you can go spend your Monopoly money there. I haven't met anyone that I don't like. They're all very friendly and very precise about medications, and they've been really good. I really like them. My mom has a room with a double closet with sliding doors over the closet and a bathroom. They have some rooms that have double patio doors going to the outside to a garden, but there weren't any available when I moved her in. I haven't eaten there, but she seems to like the food. She has been there for three weeks now. The only complaint that I have had is about the television. She likes the Western Channel, and the channels between 13 and 30 are listed on her program, but they're not there, and I've been complaining about it for three weeks. I also like them because there are only 35 residents and 35 rooms. There are people sitting around and talking in the dining room, in the hallways, there are little chairs here and there, there is a living room and an activity room with a big screen TV, and there are people sitting and watching together.

Mom likes where she's currently at, as well as the people at Harvest Home. She's very comfortable there. They've done a lot of improvements which go well with us. They put in a nursing staff instead of just technicians. That's even better.
