It's a difficult decision for you and your loved one to transition to an assisted living facility. Down Home Blessed Care makes the transition easier by providing both private and semi-private rooms for our residents, to provide as much privacy and independence as possible while still offering around-the-clock care that they can't receive elsewhere. Each room is outfitted with a walk-in shower featuring ADA-compliant safety features. Residents are assisted with anything they need, including using the toilet, showering, taking medication, dressing, making their bed, attending appointments, and any other task that may be difficult for them. Ensure that the people who have loved and supported you through life receive the same love and support throughout theirs. Down Home Blessed Care provides nurturing, compassionate care to elderly patients of differing abilities, enabling them to maintain a certain level of independence without having to struggle to complete tasks that may be too difficult. We specialize in caring for patients with disorders like Alzheimer's or dementia, providing them with a full and joyful life, no matter what. In addition to personal assistance at all hours, we take care of several other areas of residents. Some of the tasks our staff perform include housekeeping, laundry, and taking patients on scheduled activities and outings in order to stay active and enrich lives. We also provide church services every Sunday, birthday celebrations, and grooming appointments for residents. Grooming includes beard trims for men, manicures for women, and haircuts for both.
