Reviews of Mary Ann's Home Care

I am a friend or relative of a resident
I did find a place for my father-in-law. It is Mary Anne's Home Care. We chose this facility because it was close to where he used to live, so he could still have friends come by and visit. Also, my husband and I both like the facility itself. It is a beautiful place. We like the lady who owns it, and we just felt that it would be a good fit for my father-in-law. I think the staff is very competent. They also try to come up with alternate ways to deal with the patients. If there is something that comes up that requires a little bit more work, they would actually go the extra mile to do something for them. The rooms are large. There is plenty of space for walker and wheelchair. There isn't any clutter anywhere. It is a nice, clean and open type facility. The food seems to be nutritious. The first night that my in-laws were there, I did have some of the chicken and salad, and it was actually tasted very good. My mother-in-law was there that night, before she had to go to hospice, and she actually sat down and ate like it was the best meal she had eaten. Residents there have a place where they can go and sit, and play cards if they want to. There is a place to go and sit and read. They have a very nice outdoor facility with a gazebo and a little pond. It is a very nice relaxing place that they could go to sit, read a book or play checkers. They also have a big-screen TV. What stands out for me with this place is probably how clean it is, and how caring both Mary Ann and her husband are. They seem to go the extra mile to help the residents and also to come up with additional solutions.
