Reviews of Beehive Homes of Spanish Fork

I am a friend or relative of resident
Our Mom has been in the Beehive home in Spanish Fork for about a year and half. They recently changed owners and the new owners are working quite hard to update the facility and make the rooms larger with an updated kitchen and dining area. Mom receives good care there. There were quite a few older ladies that worked there and they have now been replaced with younger employees which made us a little concerned but so far they seem fairly responsible although I have caught them on their cells phones a couple of time. New construction is always hard on residents but we are excited for the changes as we believe it will be much more cheery inside when it is completed. The owners seem approachable with our suggestions and invite us to contact them if anything is needed. Kristin, the office manager is doing a great job of keeping us informed of things. The cost is reasonable compared to other facilities and this "home" type environment is best for our Mom. They are also very good to invite and include my Dad in anything that is going on and invite him to eat dinner there quite often. Mom never complains about the food and from what I have seen, it looks very nutritious and appetizing. I am glad they encourage religious services on Sunday as these residents need that. They are starting to do more field trips with the residents and I think they really enjoy that. My 4 star rating is only because of the turn around in employees as we are still getting used to the new ones.

I visited this facility
This is a nice cozy facility, with a ten occupant capacity. The best part about this facility, besides the excellent staff, is the location. It is located in a nice, low key area, only a few blocks away from several parks. Several of the residents love taking field trips to the park so they can walk around it. With the way some of these residents have taken to walking"”due primarily to their jaunts in the park"”you'd think they were training for a walking marathon. I think some could even out walk me. They probably get more exercise and fresh air than anybody I know. It's good to see them so bright-eyes and rosy cheeked after one of their walks. They look very healthy.
From Beehive Homes of Spanish Fork
Our staff of wonderful caregivers work hard to create a comfortable, enjoyable environment for all our residents. Our approach to assisted living is unique; because we are smaller, we are able to provide more attention and care to each of our residents individually.
Here are many of the amenities and services our residents enjoy:
Private rooms. Each resident has a private room complete with an attached bathroom. We provide comfortable beds and spacious dressers, but you are welcome to bring other furnishings to make your room feel more like home. Of course, we love when residents decorate their rooms and make them their own! Each room is also wired for cable TV.
24-hour staffing. Our trained and caring staff is on site 24 hours a day. Every resident has access to the assistance they need, when they need it. From laundry service to help with medications and personal care, our qualified staff members are here to provide you with the care you desire and deserve.
Home-cooked meals. A trained dietitian assures our meals are warm, delicious, and provide the nutrition you need. Our inviting dining area also gives you a welcoming place to enjoy your meals, three times a day.
Group activities. One of our primary goals at BeeHive Homes in Spanish Fork is to provide a family-like atmosphere where everyone feels at home and can enjoy whatever level of association they choose. We provide regular individual and group activities, including art, music, and social opportunities. We also provide group exercise and walking to keep everyone feeling healthy and happy.
Housekeeping and laundry. All housekeeping and laundry services are provided—you’ll never need to worry about cleaning your room or washing your clothes. We take great pride in providing you a safe, clean home at all times.
Beautician services. We have a shampoo sink and beautician’s chair right in our BeeHive Home, and a beautician visits weekly to provide haircare services for anyone who is interested.
