I am/was a resident of this facility
I just can't say enough about this place. I was doing rehab in Dekalb and felt I was not improving, I was depressed and honestly was giving up. my son moved me to this place and what a difference it made. the staff was honest, kind caring determined, and thoughtful. my food was great and fresh. I was up and moving within weeks. I cant say how thankful I am. Truly the best.

I visited this facility
I was given a tour of the building, which seems recently built. It is a very clean place. Staff was friendly and answered my questions without hesitation. Residents are very nice there and they have lots of activities that they can do there. I am not sure about the food however if it is anything like their sister facility next door(Shabbona Healthcare), it should be good too. Since it is in a small town, I personally would not want to live there but for anyone looking for a place like home in the country, I would recommend this facility.
