I went to visit my mom's friend in Saratoga Retirement Community. She was there for rehab. It was absolutely outstanding. I would give it a 10. My mom going in said, I would go there. My mom felt that it was beautiful. What stood out were the grounds, the inside, and the cafeteria or their dining area; it was beautiful. They had an atrium with birds. It was definitely upper class; there's no doubt about it. I saw the food that was served to the patients. It was excellent. According to her, it tasted good. Everything was fresh. There were fresh vegetables. The meat was good; the chicken was good. She really liked it. The staff was courteous, professional, seemed to be very responsible, and attended to her when needed.

I have seen at least four or five places, but Saratoga Retirement Community was one of the best, and it's very, very beautiful. It's like this grand place sitting on a hillside, almost like a palace, but of course it is more expensive. I've seen their assisted living, their independent apartments, and their townhouses. The staff I met was very gracious and very respectful, and they answered all the questions that I had. The layout was wonderful and everything was huge -- like there's a huge dining room, a huge library, and so many conference and party rooms. It has walking trails and a golf course, so they have a lot of outdoor areas there. They even have their own swimming pool and their own gym. It's very spacious.

We went to Saratoga Retirement Community. We walked the grounds. It was pricy, but nice. We all wore masks. The staff was very nice. We did the grounds and the inside. It was nice inside, but older and matronly in terms of the art. It was clean. They weren't expecting me, so it was a shuffle left and right, north, south, east, west to find somebody to give me a tour, but it was handled very well. They had a swimming pool, a beauty shop, and woodworking shop.

Saratoga Retirement Community was a very nice facility. My brother really liked it. The rooms were big. The tour was good, and the tour guide was very nice. My brother takes insulin for diabetes and I made that quite clear since the very beginning. The staff gave me no indication that the injection of insulin was a problem. She took me on the tour, and I really liked it, so I brought my brother back, and he really liked it. Right from the start, we mentioned that he is injecting insulin, and later on, we were put on a waiting list. We called and they said they're turning him down because he has medical issues they cannot address, and he needed more medical help than they could provide. I did not like the way I was treated.

Saratoga Retirement Community was located in a wooded area. There were no houses or anything nearby. It's like an open clearing and you can see the mountain. It was just above and beyond anything else you can find anywhere. The residents there were the ones we'd like to associate with. The food was good and they went out of their way to make a nice lunch for us. Some apartments were good and were a good size. We looked at a 2-bedroom apartment and it had the living room right in the middle, one bedroom on the right, and one bedroom on the left. There's a great deal of privacy. They have a swimming pool, garages, and a workshop in one of the garages. They have beautiful artwork, a beautiful dining area, and you can eat any time you want.

Saratoga Retirement Community is very nice and I'm sure I'll be very happy here. I moved in last week. The food is fabulous. My room is 1100 square feet with shutters in it, and I have a Murphy bed which folds out of the wall. They have all kinds of exercise classes, tai chi, balancing classes, and yoga. They have a walking group, a swimming pool, and Bocce ball.

We visited Saratoga, and it’s very spacious; the dining room was large. They have an indoor pool -- and that’s a real plus -- and they had a nice gym.

Saratoga Retirement Community was great. The rooms were a good size, and my mom was going to share one with another person. It's 20'x20' with a bath. The staff was lovely. We dealt with two ladies who walked us through. There was trivia for memory care and "name that phrase" games. They also had scheduled trips to scenic sights and a small garden. The place was big at around 37 acres. It seemed pretty nice.
