I visited this facility

Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill was nice. All the people there were nice. They explained what it would involve getting my mom in, all the all the legal work and paperwork. They then gave me a tour of the facility, the kitchen area, and the rooms. They showed us both types of rooms. This facility is top-notch. Even though it's in the city, it was nice once you go inside. It has an open patio area. The personnel there were really good, and everybody there looked happy. The only thing was, the price was quite a bit more, so we didn't go for that one. Although the price was higher there, but it wasn't out of the world. Also, it would be kind of hard to park there. Otherwise, the facility was great. It looked nice; I was impressed by it. That was probably the best one we went into. They were informative, and they kept up contact.

I visited this facility

The people at Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill seemed very nice. There's diversity of people, residents, and staff there, which I think is important. It's a very pretty place. The sizes of the rooms were normal. They seemed nice and very comfortable, but there were too many stairs and it was a little too large for my brother to navigate. He would have been lost there. The person that took me on the tour was very nice. He answered all the questions I had and was very forthcoming as far as what they provide and the monies and things of that nature.

We looked here. We love this place. We live in San Francisco, so it was perfect. The nice thing about it is the location for us. I can get there like in 20 minutes driving. The location is very good. It is an urban environment, but you don't feel like it when you go in. It's very nice. It doesn't feel small, but it is nice. The staff who welcomed us was fine. He was very straightforward. We went in there interested in the below-market rate program that they have there. They have a medical part too, so that was something attractive for us. They have a little outdoor place where you can go sit. It is surrounded by the buildings so there's no chance you can get out without somebody knowing because it is sort of within.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother moved in. It's excellent. They're not big, but I'm guessing for these kinds of facilities, they're good-sized. I wouldn't call them big, though. The staff is very friendly, very helpful. My mother thinks the food is delicious. There's a good variety. It's consistent. She loves the food. She's just starting to do the activities, but they offer many, varied activities and she seems to be enjoying them. She's only been there two weeks. The staff is very willing to listen and help us kind of navigate through this.

We found it and things are going well so far. I picked it because they seemed to have nice rooms, lots of activities, and good care. The food looks good too.
