We visited The Winfield at Richmond Heights. I liked everything about it. That's one of my sister's choices. They showed me two types of apartments. The staff gave me the calendar for the activities. I met the chef, which was not planned, but he was near where I was. He said the food was good and we started laughing. It's a very clean facility. The structure of the building was very good. I like the layout of the rooms. I like the space. The closets were good with enough space for everything. The bathroom was big, too. The dining area was like a restaurant. They have a bar area and you can have two drinks per person. They will offer that to all the independent living people.

The tour I had at The Winfield at Richmond Heights was nice. They were friendly and the kitchen space in the rooms was quite nice. The media room was not so nice. It's just kind of got a small TV for everybody to share, but it seemed clean and friendly, and the price was good. This was within mom's budget.

My sister moved into The Winfield at Richmond Heights. She's pretty happy there. She's only been there a week, but she said, "So far, so good." The staff I had contact with were very good. I had lunch there one day, and it was good. My sister said the food was okay. The facility has been kept clean. The library is very nice. They have all kinds of activities. There is a patio. I have not seen a walking path unless you walk in the parking lot. They do the laundry, and they have transportation.

I am living in The Winfield at Richmond Heights. They always have turnover. The help is good, they have a great maintenance man here, and they have a super dining room supervisor, she's wonderful. But some of the people are kinda meh, they're not bad, but they're not good either. They could use some social skills. And I'm not moving out of here because of that, I'm moving out of here for financial reasons. We have a balcony that I like to go out and smoke my cigar on, and we watch TV, and we have some activities that we participate in. There's a library, their exercise room is strictly by appointment only for physical therapy, and they could keep the elevators clean. As far as our apartment goes, we kind of customized it and had it painted. It cost me some money, but we had the kitchen, the living room, and the 1-bedroom area painted, the handicapped showers are wonderful, and there's lots of closet space. We have housekeeping once a week. The food isn't out of this world, but it's ok. We cook and eat a lot of sandwiches up here, I don't need all three meals every day. They have an activity director here named Sue, who is wonderful.

The Winfield at Richmond Heights is close to me. So, proximity was good. The campus has a nice grassy area. It's quiet and the building itself was easy to get around, but I think maybe for someone new moving in, it would take a little bit of getting used to. They had call buttons for safety purposes if something should happen (which was important for my aunt). They had a little kitchenette in their apartments. Some of them even have a den and a balcony, which my aunt liked. The amenities were nice. I saw both the independent and assisted living and we had a good discussion throughout the whole tour. Then afterward we sat down and just talked about my aunt and things that she was interested in. They wanted to get to know her a little bit more. The lady who gave the whole tour was very knowledgeable.

My mom was left in her chair for twelve hours no one changed her diaper all day. She has a bed sore on her lower back and she needs to be put in bed every few hours. They forget to give her medication at least three or four times a week. The emploees have long fingernails I can't believe they have not scratched my mom. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is horrible and only a few employees care about the residents.

The Waterford at Richmond Heights was the finest facility I toured. The staff was very hospitable to me as a visitor, and polite. What I observed with the care of their patients was very high level. Even without extensive cleaning, I thought the rooms were in very good condition. I was impressed.

The Waterford at Richmond Heights was very nice and the people there were very accommodating. My mom used to be a resident in the independent living there. She was in a 1-bedroom apartment with a large den and full kitchen facilities. She went to the dining area to eat, but she could also cook her own food if she wanted to. It was very clean, the apartments were nicely-sized, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The grounds were lovely, and they have an actual location where the residents can do gardening. Plus the location is convenient, with a hospital just around the corner.
