I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My loved one resides at Fallbrook. The facility is clean, but seems habitually understaffed. Since moving to Fallbrook, my family member's personal and dental hygiene has declined significantly. Fallbrook, compared to other assisted living facilities in the area, seems to be run more like a business than a health care facility. Everything appears fine on the surface, but if you spend any amount of time there, you begin to notice the that the facility is not family friendly and that the residents receive very little personal attention. When I brought my concerns to the Administrator in charge, she was dismissive and did not appear to take my concerns seriously.

I am a friend or relative of resident
After much stress and anxiety, we finally had to place our mom in a facility where she could have 24/7 care and supervision. It was a hard thing to do, but I can't imagine any better place than Fallbrook Woods. It's beautiful, warm, and bright. The facility is always clean, and so are the residents. The food is prepared from scratch and appetizing. But the best part is the care. The staff is kind, caring, and connected. I've never seen anything like it. And the activities they have planned make all of us jealous that we aren't there as well! Honestly, I cannot give enough of a glowing review!

I visited this facility
Fallbrook Woods was very nice but not at all homey. The staff was fine and very technically oriented and sophisticated. I could feel that it was more a business rather than a care facility. They were very business-like. I didn't get to see any of the individual rooms because they were too busy to show them to me that day, and I just felt like the public areas were very crowded.

I visited this facility
While my grandfather did not want to go into an assisted living facility as his alzheimers got worse, everyone else around him thought it best since my grandmother was old and fragile as well, and was not a sufficient care giver for him. This facility, while nice in appearance, was not really a great place to live for my grandfather. They focus more on dotting is and crossing ts and regulations than providing a truly customer oriented experience or customizable family oriented care. Imagine, when a relative is at home are there "visiting hours" and rules about how many peeople can visit someone? no. Also there must have been some reason why my grandfather cried when visitors left. Each time. It seems that he had one too many falls as well...I mean, we were paying them really good money to take care of him and they weren't even doing a good job. They need more activities and socially oriented things and less focus on just the basics of day to day care.
