My mother has been at Fountain View for five days now. It seems to be a nice place, and the staff members are friendly. We were able to go there a couple of times. They're helpful, and they keep the lines of communication open. She is in a nice, private room. I like it because it is not carpeted, and it is freshly painted. Their rooms are more modern than some of the other places we looked at, and I think they're all private rooms. Some of them have bay windows, and some of them don't. They have church service there a couple of days a week so that's a point for her. They have an activity person, but I don't know what they do. It was definitely cheaper than some of the other places.

My grandma is there & has dementia. I dont care for the place. I've seen residents fall, ask for help, etc.... & most of the staff ignores the residents! I cant stand that place! As long as ur family member doesnt give the aides problems, the aides are nice. The building is falling apart inside & out! I do not recommend this place for anyone!!!!

Fountain View was a very nice facility. It would've been what we wanted, but it was out of my mother-in-law's budget. They have an activities director, so there are several things to choose from every day. It was clean and well-maintained. The management was very involved in keeping care plans updated, and the staff was updated almost daily of any changes in the residents' status. They also have a couple of doctors who would visit, as well as a nurse. The residents needed to be independent enough to live in their own rooms. There was help available for bathing if needed. They would do the laundry for each resident, too.

My mother-in law is a resident at Fountain view, she is very happy and really loves the staff. Ms. White is very professional as well as her staff. They keep us informed on everything that is going on with my mother. We can call and ask them anything at any time and they can tell us. The facility is very clean and clean smelling. They engage the residence in so many activities and invite the families to participate in all festivities. I really appreciate the entire staff.

My mom was only at Fountain View for a day. I was not impressed with it at all. My mom was supposed to be on oxygen, but they never had her on it. She supposed was to have a pureed diet, and they gave her a hamburger and potato chips. I was very, very disappointed with them. I would never recommend anybody going there. Until I went to the nursing staff and demanded that something be done, nothing got done. The girls and the nurses seemed to be very nice, but there was no communications between shifts. Cleanliness was OK, though.

Fountain View was gorgeous. They seemed to be very caring and it was clean and nobody seemed like they were unhappy. The staff was very accommodating. They took me around but she said if I had any questions, to call her or Janet. They're very accommodating. The second floor is cheaper than the first floor but I was worried that she couldn't be on the second floor because she can't do stairs and they have an elevator but if there was an emergency, she'd need stairs. It wasn't until I talked to Janet recently that she was telling me that if they had two people, one on each side of her, could she work the stairs then. She said there were only maybe 5 steps.

Outside, Fountainview didn't looked like a nursing home because it was really nice looking and I really liked that. The people there were very good and it was cheaper.
