I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Our Mother lived at Brentwood of Hobart for the last fifteen months of her life. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the care she received. Upon entering, Brianna or Jason made you feel like you were at home. Sandra the Director was compassionate, professional, and she truly cared about the residents and their families. The Nurses and Aides were outstanding. There are too many to mention, but Dana, Natalie, and all of them went out of their way to treat our Mother well. Nobody likes to see an elderly family member not able to live at their home, but as far as an Assisted Living facility, I would recommend Brentwood of Hobart without reservation. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff members for treating our Mother so well.

Provider Response

It's evident that they made a significant impact on her quality of life during her time there. Your recommendation speaks volumes about the level of care and dedication provided by the team at Brentwood of Hobart.

I visited this facility

I toured Brentwood at Hobart. Everything was excellent. The ground was so beautiful. The inside was kept clean. The people that lived there were very nice. The workers were nice and approachable, too. They had a huge selection as far as the menu for the meals. The staff who toured me, Anna, was very nice and very knowledgeable. They have games, they take them out on field trips, and they take them on trips to the mall. They have a lot going on. It's a very well-organized and put-together place.

Provider Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Brentwood at Hobart. It's wonderful to hear that you found our grounds beautiful and our community well-maintained. We're especially proud of our staff, like Anna, who strive to provide knowledgeable and friendly tours. Your mention of the varied menu and the range of activities available to our residents highlights the effort we put into creating an engaging and comfortable environment. We hope to welcome you back soon!

I toured Brentwood at Hobart. It's very nice. I was more familiar with it because my father lived there for so long. They have a nice courtyard, dining rooms and a lot of nice activities. They could take people on trips. Entertainment would come there. They have a restaurant-style menu where you can choose your entrees for all your meals. They have activities within the place like movie nights, card games, and resident activities like seated exercising. I only met one lady while I was there that showed me the unit. She was very helpful, but she hadn't been there very long. Everything there was fine. They would have a calendar of events going on there. There was a lot to do throughout the day, so that would be very good too. It was very nice.

When I stepped inside Brentwood at Hobart, people came up and talked to me. I thought they were just visiting other people, but they were actually residents of the place and they were super friendly. The staff was very patient and very informative. The lady listened to a lot of my interest for my brother and she wasn't rushing me or anything. I liked the facility a lot. It's more like a fancy hotel than the other ones. The first room she showed me, somebody had just moved out of it, so they had to do painting and other stuff. I'm sure it would look just great afterward. The other one she showed me was on the second or third floor and it was roomier with a good layout. It was more like a one-bedroom apartment, even though it didn't have that wall. It was L-shaped.

I got to tour Brentwood at Hobart. I saw the dining room. The assisted living is on one floor, and the memory care is on the second floor. I saw a studio and a one-bedroom apartment, and they were quite adequate. The facility looked good. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

We had a great tour at Brentwood at Hobart. I liked everything I've seen. It was a little of an older building, but everything was nice. The staff was very pleasant and answered all the questions that I had. I was fairly surprised with the size of the rooms. They were generally larger than I was thinking. I was thinking more along the lines of like a hotel room, and it was more like an apartment room. It had a living room, a bedroom, a fairly large size bathroom, and a little kitchen. I did not get to try the food, but the menu looked fine. They said even that if there was something special she wanted, she could put in a request for it. They had an arts and crafts room and patios, where they can go and sit outside and do a little bit of gardening. She showed us the calendar. During the time we were there, they had no activities really going on. I think that they had an exercise class on the memory care unit going on at the time we were there. The one that assisted us was very nice, very pleasant, and answered all our concerns. She did a really good job.

We've chosen the Brentwood at Hobart for my mom, and she's moving in. They're friendly, observant, clean, and attentive. They have activities. When I got there they were planning for a St. Patrick's Day party, and they were helping make stuff. It's a good-sized room, it has its own shower, it's nice, and clean.

I was at Brentwood at Hobart for only 15 minutes. They were gracious, and the facility looked nice. It was a welcoming atmosphere. In the end, they had rejected my relative because of his physical condition. The one room I saw was like a suite, and it was very nice.

My husband has moved into Brentwood at Hobart. We really like it a lot. Everybody is really happy with the care he is getting here. We think they're doing a good job. He is happy, healthy and active as he can be. The staff members are very friendly, very helpful, and always on top of things. You say something, they're taking care of it. They all know your name, they all talk to you and they all keep you up to date with what's happening. I have been very happy so far, my husband loves everybody here, and he is very happy.

My mom moved into Brentwood, and it's great, but mom is in memory care, so she needs to be assisted quite a bit. The staff is fine. They have games, trivia, music, and TV time. They watch old black and white movies, paint the ladies' nails, play bingo, and sometimes they do painting and coloring. The food is OK, and they seem to like it.

Mom is at Brentwood. They do a good job, and she's happy there. It's clean, bright, and new. The people are nice, and it seemed like a nice place for my mom to be. They help her with dressing, bathing, and taking her medicines. They play games for memory. I would recommend them.

We liked Bentwood at Hobart very much, and my mother liked it as well. She doesn’t really play a lot of games and things like that, but she is open-minded to it. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks in-between. The staff is very helpful, they answer my questions with a smile, and they are very patient. My mom has kind of made up her mind about it already, and they moved kind of fast when we were trying to get her in there. They were pretty fast in getting back with me, calling me back, letting me know the things that I need and how things are going to go, explaining everything to me, and giving me copies of all my paperwork and receipts, the handbook, and things like that. They made it really easy.

Brentwood was a nice assisted living facility with very caring staff. It was an ideal place that had very nice and very spacious rooms and quite a lot of activities. They had an occupational therapy and physical therapy and so forth. We did not try the food, but we saw the menu and were very impressed with it.

Brentwood was very clean and the people seemed very friendly. The residents seemed very happy there. The staff was very caring, friendly and very helpful. The rooms were for two persons; they shared a common area and each had a bedroom and a bathroom. It was very clean. The dining facility was quaint and homey.

The rooms at Brentwood were huge. They had big closet spaces and huge bathrooms. They had big living rooms and bedrooms. They were clean and they had strings to pull in case of emergency. There were little patios outside the door of each room that they could decorate and they were adorable. I had not seen the activities, but I heard about the activities that they had and they sounded perfect for what my grandmother would be looking for. The few staff that I interacted with were amazing. They were hands on and they called us to see how grandma was doing because she had some medical issues right after we were looking for a place for her. I would absolutely recommend them to others.
