Visiting for the first time was short. We were shown a private room which looked nice. The place is old and desperately needs upgrading. After my friend moved in it was a different story. The rooms were small, 2 people shared the room. There is a Jack and Jill bathroom that is shared 2 other people. That’s 4 people for 1 bathroom. The bathrooms are always getting stopped up. Assisted living clients room with memory care clients. This is not a good situation. There are flies in the rooms. The courtyard is ok but when the door is opened the cigarette smoke comes in. The meals are ok I guess. Some of the rooms reek of urine. I can’t imagine sleeping in a room like that and having to breathe the stench of pee all night and day. Some of the personnel are very friendly and helpful, some border on rude, others are probably there because they couldn’t get a job anywhere else. I have caught the front dest personnel in lies. We are desperately trying to find another place for my friend. I do not recommend this place.

Unorganized and under managed. Some wonderful and caring employees; however, some, not so much! One housekeeper should be a resident and talks more than she cleans. I have been in the system for 6 years and this is my 3rd facility. Each time a step down, but this is the worst I've ever seen. Very small courtyard with uneven paths. The good doesn't out weigh the bad! They do nice crafts, and like I said, some of the employees are exceptional. But, the other 60% need to choose another feild. Doors slamming constantly by residents AND STAFF. Like I said, they're are some wonderful staff members that treat everyone with dignityji But some who just don't care one way or another!

I visited Noble Senior Living at Pensacola, but I was not impressed. It's not very well kept up, the staff wasn't very informed or up to date. They didn't even know we were coming in, and they kind of pitched a fit when we showed up. The place wasn't that clean, it needed renovations, it just need a lot. Other than walking around, they didn't have much in terms of amenities. They had TVs and that was just it. They had a lot of activities planned on their planning board, but I didn't see much for physical activity, and there wasn't that much room to do physical activity.

I toured Noble Senior Living at Pensacola. The place looked clean, but it smelled really bad. The rooms smelled musty and the bathrooms smelled like pee. It was like a tiny motel room at a rundown motel, and there was no way I could put my mother there. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly and knowledgeable about how everything was going, and that side was pretty good. The people there seemed okay, they weren't overly joyous, but they weren't complaining or anything. It was pretty quiet. They move around and do everything, I didn't see any of the activities going on. It seems like the administration has not taken care of the place. It needs a roof, you can see shingles are missing and it's starting to get leaks on the ceiling inside. So you can see there are roof leaks, they need to put a new roof in place. She went over the pamphlet, but you didn't see or hear anything about the transportation, the other places, or the activities. She explained them, but I didn't get to see them. They've got a garden, a patio, and a smoking area.

I understand Noble Senior Living at Pensacola just took possession of this place, new ownership, in August of last year. I won't say that it was bad. It just needed some upgrading. They showed us both assisted living and memory care. The person who showed me around seemed like he had a lot on his plate. He was the director of different facilities, which concerns me. He's got several degrees and his staff has several degrees, but that doesn't mean nothing if you're not there to put them into use. It seemed like he might have gotten himself spread a little bit too thin to be able to concentrate on running this particular facility because he's got others to run as well. They had a courtyard, but it did not look safe to me. It did not look like they would want them to go out there because it wasn't kept up. It was there, but it was not usable. There were no amenities in the rooms. Everybody was in shared rooms, with memory care patients, I kind of question, and that setup kind of concerned me.

Ronnie has greatly improved this facility. He has a great personality and a can do (ARMY) attitude. HE IS NEVER TO BUSY TO TALK TO YOU. He knows everyone by name and their needs. He has hired great staff in all departments. They are making it a really nice place to live with great group activities and good food. Keep it up.
