From Otterbein Portage Valley Senior Lifestyle Community
Otterbein portage Valley is a not-for-profit faith-based continuing care retirement community. We are related to the United Methodist Church. The community is located on 160 acres of wooded property in eastern Wood County, Ohio. It is a safe, semi rural, small village with all levels of care. Independent living is made up of a combination of Villa/ Patio Homes and apartments. Wellness services, activities, dining room and volunteer opportunities are available for IL residents. Assisted living features all aspects of help with activities of daily living as well as nursing services. We have a nurse present in assisted living 24 hours a day.
What Makes Us Special
We are special because of the Spirit of Otterbein which is felt by residents, families and community members because OPV is part of the Pemberville, Ohio history. It was a grass roots effort over thirty years ago that brought OPV to the area. It's a feeling of family and friendliness.
