Carolina Gardens at Garden City

I had lunch at Carolina Gardens at Garden City with my parents. They really liked it. It seemed as though they were very patient oriented. The staff were very friendly and outgoing. The food was very good. The rooms were nice size. What I liked about it was that they don't put their money towards like having the frills and everything like that. It's pretty much cut and dried, but still a nice and well-kept facility. Actually, it's surprisingly large compared to what it looks like from the outside. What stood out really was the employees. They have their exercise room. They have activity room, and they have a full dining hall. There are several things.

I went to look at Carolina Gardens at Garden City. I liked that they had extended the dining area because of the COVID. The people had a very nice place to stay. The man we talked to and all the people we talked to were very nice and polite. I had my husband with me, and they interviewed him while he was there. I talked with him about what he needed. They have very nice staff. It looked like there was plenty of staff. Nobody looked like they were not being taken care of. They gave us a menu, I was reading it, and it looked like it would be OK. The facility was clean. The rooms had one set up as an example, and then they showed us the room that was available, so that was very good. They don't have an elevator, and we liked that. We liked the ground floor. They have a patio, and each room has a window that looks out into a courtyard-type patio thing. If you're there, you can get physical therapy. They do crafts. They have basic services, and they bring in doctors. The price was a little bit lower than some of the others. The staff members were very, very nice, and very friendly. They talked to us for a good while, trying to figure out what we wanted, so it was good.

I moved into Carolina Gardens at Garden City. It's good. The staff is pretty well mixed. You get some that don't do a thing and just sit around and you can't get them to do anything, but most of the staff are very good. The ones I have are good. The food is not the best in the world and not the worst in the world, but they give you choices, so that was pretty good.

We went to Carolina Gardens at Garden City. I liked them, I thought they were very nice, I thought the place was set up nice, and the people were very nice. The room that we looked at was very nice, and it had a patio with a little outdoor area, which would have been very nice. A little bit of distance while walking from there to the dining room would be too far for my friend. The dining room was very comfortable looking, it was nice.

I toured Carolina Gardens at Garden City. It was nice, but it was a little bit dated on the carpet. The staff was really nice, she said she'll call next week, and I haven't decided yet. The room was very nice, but I didn't like that it didn't have a stove, and I love to cook. The dining area was lovely. It's a very nice one story facility, I can keep my dog outside, and the outside is clean.

My mother moved herself into Carolina Gardens a few weeks ago. The place is clean and the staff that I have been around are upbeat and attentive. It is not the Hilton, but it will give my mother everything she needs to stay as active as possible. The rooms vary in size from very small to pretty roomy. The activity schedule is impressive and gives the residents many options. They serve three meals a day at 8, 12, 5 and she told me if you are ten minutes late they come to check on you, so I feel good knowing that. It makes me so much more at ease than when she lived by herself.
