Parker Place has a SMILE app that keeps families updated with daily activities, and events that their loved one attends. Our nurse is also great about calling families as soon as something happens with their loved one, family is first!

What is the care staff-to-resident ratio at Parker Place during daytime and nighttime hours?

First shift there are 1 per 15 in Memory Care and 1 per 21 in Assisted Living. Some days we do have a "float" which is an extra set of hands for both Memory Care and Assisted Living.

Parker Place does except pets! We have a wonderful outdoor courtyard centered in the middle of the building. Memory Care also has an secured outdoor area for their furry companions!

Monthly in-services' along with training provided by the RN they are delegated underneath.

What safety features or security measures does Parker Place provide to protect residents who wander?

On Assisted Living, if wandering is an issue or concern for family members, we will provide a wander guard which alerts staff when they are getting close to the outside. In Memory Care, this is a secured unit, so unless wandering is an issue or concern again, we will implement a wander guard.

Our activity director sets up 6 activities a day that engage all our residents. We also provide Shadow boxes that we encourage family members to sit down with their loved one and make their box something that will bring back some memories of their life!

Parker Place has a registered nurse that assesses them every 90 days

Repetitive, having meals at the same time everyday, and providing an activity while they eat to keep them engaged.
