Celebrate Senior Living of Niles was very nice and very clean. They were very attentive to the residents that were there. The rooms there were very clean and were fairly large. I did not try their food, but their dining area was very nice. It was very bright, and it was just nice to see all of them sitting together eating. The staff was very nice, very informative, and very positive. They had a music group going, and it just had a lot of people in and out, going in busses for more of the assisted living, but people generally seemed very happy there.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean building, with some areas' newly remodel. They should continue to remodel as money is available. Chapel; is beautiful, love the birds in meeting areas. It would be preferred if small pets allowed or have a social service dog.

I did a tour of Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community. I like the cleanliness and safety of the rooms. I like the activities and the people. I liked the fact that there were other people (who I knew from this facility that had also moved there), and they liked the place. They had a library. They have the beauty and barber salon. They have medical facility and a chapel. They are not pet friendly. The staff was very nice. They were very accommodating to us who were there. There was no pressure whatsoever to take the place; they were just showing it. The only thing that I didn't like is that it took a very long time because there was three of us, and we all signed up. We had to wait until we were done, and it took several hours.

I toured the independent living part of Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community. The rooms were small. Overall, it was kind of depressing there because of the way everything looked. They could improve on the color and the entrance way. The staff who gave me the tour was a very nice person. We didn't have a chance to try the food, so we don't know how that was. For some people, it fits the bill for them and whatever basic money you might have; however, it's still a lot even the starting price. For the starting price, you get a studio as opposed to a 1-bedroom, even though it includes your meals and your utilities and all that. It looked fairly clean to me. The fact that they charge you $500 to move in for them to clean and fix anything in any of the units, should be the cost of doing business; you shouldn't be charging the person $500 who's moving in. If you rent an apartment somewhere and they have to repaint or do the carpeting, they're not charging you to do that; that's the cost of doing business of the rental company.

Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community was nice. It was well-kept and clean. I liked that they had activities. Now with COVID you really can't see a lot of people out in the hallways, but it looks like they have a table where they could do puzzles on the floor. The only concern that I had was the elevators. Plus, I didn't see a string that they could pull like if they fall. I was concerned about that. They advised me that they do wellness checks throughout the day. So they'll do it in the morning. They have people that walk around, and then they do a check at breakfast. They do it that way. I just thought that they would have something where if something happened, they could just pull a string and somebody would come. Other than that, they were very courteous to us. Even in the independent living, they have the meals included, so I was very happy about that. I like modern facilities, but this one was old and it seemed dark.

We have a pretty good experience so far with Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community. My dad is there and it seems like they take care of the residents, but the worst thing is with this COVID now it's really hard to see him for a long time. Still, it's been a pretty good experience overall. If something happens, or something comes up, they always update and call you, or if I need to know something, I call them, and if they cannot answer the phone, they call me back in an hour or so. He's picky with his food but he said he likes it. It's an older place, but everything seems clean, updated, and organized. They play bingo too, take them to Walmart on a bus to buy stuff, and some tours that they offer sometimes, so the activities seem pretty good.

Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community was very clean and very nice. It's old but in very good condition; very well taken care of. They would invite you back to taste the food if you wanted. You could arrange that. You don't have so much in your independent room, but not far from your room there's a general kitchen, and that you can use; that has a microwave and whatever else in there. The laundry is on the same floor, so things are available for you to use. They have parking at no extra charge. I just felt like that was more than what I wanted. It was very nice. It was kind of odd when you realize that it seems to be sitting in the middle of a cemetery, and if you're a religious person they have a beautiful chapel there, if that's what's important to you. They do have activities right there. The staff members are very pleasant, and helpful, and immediately responded when we came in. The elevators were old but seemed to be running fine.

Elevate Saint Andrew Living Community was nice. It had the older building vibes,but it was very well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The facility was clean and very well kept. I liked the rooms too. They were nicely kept and large enough for my sister. The place was a little bit trickier to find, but the location was nice.

We visited a friend in (Elevate) Glen St. Andrew Living before COVID. It's a full service community, they have independent, assisted living, skilled nursing, Alzheimer's, that was the last on the floor, and there are five floors to it. She was in independent living, and she did wind up in the skilled nursing towards the end because she developed pneumonia. That was a nice facility. She passed away. We were able to visit her all the time, they had a nice reception area, the place was constantly kept clean, the staff was really nice, they were always helpful if you had any problems over there. The only complaint I had was they had an outdated elevator, and they kept breaking down. They had two elevators, so other than that it was really nice. It was an older facility. When she was in there they did have a chapel in there, so she could get sacraments all the time. A priest would come once a week, but this was before COVID. The food was good because we ate there several times with her, it was like a cafeteria style, she just went up, picked out the food that she wanted, sat down, and they'd bring the food out to her. It was a well-balanced diet that they provided for them. We were guests there a couple of times, and I can't complain about the food; it was really good. They have activities, it was up on the very top floor, an open area, they had exercises, they had different things, but they were also able to take them out. They had activities on the outside of the building in the summertime. They had activities about every week judging from their activity calendar.

When my father had a bypass surgery and a TIA that left him unable to return home safely he came to the Glen Saint Andrew for therapy. The staff was kind, caring and respectful during his entire stay. After participating in the therapy program for 3 weeks he was able to return home safely and independently! If any of my family or friends require care they will be going to the Glen Saint Andrew.

Glen Saint Andrew Living Community was a nice clean place, and the rooms were nice. It is close to transportation and shopping across the street. The rooms were adequate. I saw a studio and a 1-bedroom.

Glen Saint Andrew Living Community was an older building but very well maintained. There was a little non-denominational chapel, which was nice, and a fun, little place downstairs where they could have ice cream. What's nice about the place was you can go from level to level. As your needs increase, you can stay, and they will take care of you. They had on-site, 24-hour nurses.

There were nice people at Glen Saint Andrew. The facility was a little too old for my mom and had a higher level of care than she needed. We toured the whole facility. It would not have suited my mom just because she didn’t need a lot of supervision and could cook her own meals. It was a nice place. The rooms seemed very nice, and the staff seemed very friendly and nice. I didn’t observe any of the activities, but I saw their library and computer room, which seemed nice. It seemed like they had a little outdoor area where people could sit outside on the patio.

I think Glen Saint Andrew, its dining area, and rooms are very good. The grounds are very well kept. They have a church and a nurse that visits the rooms. They also have activities, like bingo, holiday parties, and different things like that.

Visited Glen Saint Andrew for my brother. Loved everything, however, the room that was available was really a bit smaller than we had anticipated. Liked the idea that he would be receiving 3 meals a day 7 days a week. Liked the idea that we would not have a stove in his room, however, would be able to put a frig in it. Was hoping that we would have been able to see more rooms, however, they were in the "remodeling" stages and unable to do so. Would definitely recommend this place to someone that needs an affordable place to live, should anyone ask.

My aunt is moving to Glen Saint Andrew Living Community on Wednesday. We picked the facility for the bedroom and chapel, which holds, like, 200 people. This way, she can go to the 9:00 mass every day, and it gives her an activity, as well as all the other stuff that they provide. The facility looks nice, clean, and big.

My father is in Glen Saint Andrew. It's a complete facility with independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. He has been wonderful there. They have three good meals a day, and the room is sufficient for what he needs. They have a men's club, exercise, mass every day at a chapel for Catholic masses, an ice cream parlor that's open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, movies in the evenings and discussions, and a free bus from Niles that comes and takes people to shopping areas in the neighborhood, plus another bus that will help you go to your doctor if you need to. He's been in therapy for balance three times a week.

Glen Saint Andrew Living Community was pretty nice. They had a big chapel. I liked the dining room, but the apartments were small. They had a bathtub and a shower. I did not care for them. They were a little bit old-fashioned when we came in. I was disappointed at the way they looked.

Glen Saint Andrew seemed institutionalized, and the rooms were very small. It’s an old facility, and you look at the cemetery; I don’t think that would be so great. They were very clean, and I think they would be good for somebody who has limited funds. I would not put my mother here.
