Memory Lane Cottage at Oviedo was all memory care. It was very, very nice and clean. The head nurse was lovely. The facility itself was very nice. The staff was very nice, friendly and very informative. I met the activity director and she explained all the activities that they had. It's a much smaller environment. They only have 20 residents, which I like. It's very convenient for me. It's about 7 minutes from my house. The rooms were nice and they came furnished with a bed, a TV and an armoire for all your clothes and shoes and things like that.

We toured Memory Lane Cottage at Oviedo for my dad, and they're pretty nice. They have their own bathroom, they're own room, and TV. The rooms are all the way around. It was big enough for a single bed type thing, but you didn't have to furnish it. The staff was very good and very professional. The place was very caring. It is like a family-oriented place.

My relative has moved into Memory Lane Cottage. It's very nice. It's small. They have 20 beds, and they only have 13 residents at that time. The folks are very nice, and my relative is happy. Actually, I just left there. It's the first time we've been able to visit since the pandemic.

Memory Lane Cottage had just about any type of care from just assisted all the way through hospice. They only take about 25 residents, and they stay there throughout the entire duration of their life. So they are capable of assisting with anything, and I think that it is more what my mother-in-law would be fitted for. The rooms were very safe and secure -- very nice. We did see some of the other staff, and of course we saw the 2 people who toured with us, but then as we were touring, they were actually having lunch, so we saw some of the staff feeding some of the residents who were unable to. Everything seemed to be fine and up-to-par. They have people coming in for activities, they have movies and different games, and they have a library for them; they just have different activities. They can go outside at anytime they want in the grounds, and they have elevated gardening -- which was just very nice. The price was a little higher, but it included more. If we could get Betty to come to Florida and if the rest of the family agrees to let us bring her down here, this is where we would choose to put her. It is a little pricier, but once they are there -- like if their condition worsens -- they don’t have to leave and go somewhere else.

I was very impressed with Memory Lane Cottage at Oviedo. This would have been our next move, but unfortunately he passed away. They have awesome amenities.

Memory Lane was nice and very good. The staff was good. The rooms were sufficient and included furniture and a TV. It had got a nice outside area for him to use. There's only three people, and the residents were happy.
Memory Lane Cottage features a unique "Home Based" model, breaking the mold of a typical memory care assisted living facility. Each resident has a spacious private room, with an oversized bathroom featuring roll-in showers. The bedrooms are fully furnished and include a TV. The bedrooms also open up to a central family room, complete with a fireplace, and our dining room. An open kitchen allows the residents to talk to the dietary staff, and watch their food being prepared. Activity stations are found throughout the community. We also have two large porches, and a huge secured courtyard, enabling residents to enjoy the outdoors and attend picnics, gardening activities, and daily walks.
