Both my parents moved to Wilkinson Woods in 2011. It was hard to move them from their own home but everyone there welcomed them with a warm heart and open arms. In no time my parents felt at home. The staff kept them involved with activities , and personal attention. When it got to hard for my father to walk the hall they gave us a apartment closer to the elevator to make it easier for them. When a health issue would come up I was always informed right away. Having a doctor coming to the home was a huge plus. And Dr. Cooper is a very caring person that works with the Elderly with passion. All of the nurses aids and staff are some of the warmest hearted people I have met. They treated my parents like their own. My father passed in 2013 and at that time they paid extra attention to my mother with giving her comfort and just taking the time to talk to her. Sad to say my mother passed away 2 months ago. But as her health worsened she was able to stay in her apartment until she died. The aides and others also comforted me during the difficult time. Yes I miss my parents but I also miss the workers at Wilkinson Woods. I praise all of them for the care and love they showed and gave my parents. I feel they are like family; God Bless them all for the work they do. I would recommend Wilkinson Woods to any family who need help when their parents get to that point in life.. They are Wonderful !!!!!

I visited Wilkinson Woods. They had a nice dining room, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't consider it as clean, and the apartments were small.

I visited this facility
We visited the Wilkinson Woods, located in Wis., while researching possible assisted living facilities for our aunt to live in. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. The outside area was very nicely maintained and the foyer was fresh and bright with a very nice decor, color scheme and furniture. We could see that there was plenty of space to have parties, private gatherings and picnics. The grounds outside offer easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely safely each day. The colors throughout the building were soothing and comfortable. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Each room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. All of the private living areas had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. The private rooms also featured plenty of space in nicely decorated surroundings. Seniors are encouraged to use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes were also offered. The meal menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered regularly and whenever desired. The dining room had beautiful, comfortable furniture with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The residents regularly go on trips to visit the many local art galleries and museums, eat at casual and fine restaurants and enjoy the many cultural events offered in the region. The residents looked very content in this living environment and appeared well cared for by considerate and kind staff.
