I liked that Wickshire Senior Living of Norman was more of a one-level facility. Their pricing structure was such that two of my in-laws could share a room and the price wasn't going to go up. The people were very friendly, very nice, and very helpful. The rooms were considerably larger than any other place that I saw. They had nice activity rooms. It was structured in such a way that they tried to work with people's interests and make sure that it wasn't just one group activity. They had a person on site who was going to be directing activities and tailoring them to individual interests.

The rooms are very spacious with an open floor plan. You have your own restroom and shower with a big walk-in closet. The free cable is also a great plus. Would recommend this facility to anyone looking for good activities, food, company with quality care.

My mom has been living at Rambling Oaks since February 2019. The transition for her was huge as she went from being completely independent in her own home. I remember walking into the facility and seeing resident’s doors open, watching the staff interact with the residents with such kindness and having the sense of a happy environment. Then I saw the spacious apartments, many with patios and knew this was it. Mom loves where she is living. She goes to a work out class Monday thru Friday. Every person who works there, without exception, has been so sweet to mom - which is the number one priority for our family. This transition for mom and her family was made so much easier thanks to the staff at Rambling Oaks. As a daughter who visited every assisted living facility in Norman, I am so happy this is the place that mom now calls home.

My mother in law has been at Rambling Oaks for a few months she is very happy there. The staff is very loving and care about their residents. They also keep us up to date on how she is doing. They have a lot of different areas for residents to enjoy. The food is good the facility is very clean. The rooms are spacious. We are very pleased with this facility I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to put their loved one.

I’m going into Rambling Oaks. I’ve toured about six different places, and I like Rambling Oaks because it is bright, open, and cheerful-looking. I got the size of the apartment that I wanted, which is about 560 square feet. I’m happy with Rambling Oaks. One friend of mine had her mother in there for 11 years, and she loved it. Another neighbor of my son had his mother in there for three years, and she loved it, too.

Rambling Oaks is wonderful. The level of care is excellent. I would definitely recommend them to others. They have bingo and church groups coming in. The rooms are fine and reasonable. They have spacious private rooms. The food is very good. They are very good overall.

My grandmother stayed at Rambling Oaks Assisted Living before she passed away. The staff were helpful and nice. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and homey. There were different activities although she did not participate in all. She could bring most of her furniture in the room. It was a great and wonderful facility.

My mother is currently in Rambling Oaks assisted living. I wouldn't say mom is pleased, but she doesn't want to be anywhere except where she is now; she has memory issues. I chose this place basically because it is close to me, and they have provided what mom needs. The people there seemed to be caring and responsive to her needs, and they are able to deal with her demands and so on. She is in an apartment by herself, she shares it with no one and that's good because she didn't want to be in a hospital kind of setting. She's got her own private area and bathroom that kind of thing. They provide her meals, she's got her small refrigerator, but there's no cooking inside the apartment. It's large enough for what she needs. They've got sitting areas around where people can sit with a nice and comfortable lounge in front of it, a patio area, and also a sun room area that's accessible. They've got laundry facilities; she does her own laundry with some assistance. It's a comfortable place.

Good Neighbor Corporation is nothing but people wanting your loved ones money but they provide NO amenities for them what-so-ever. DO NOT place your loved one here, its very dysfunctional managed from the top down and everything they try to portray is a con. Many employees steal from residents, give wrong medication, do not clean apartments and there is NO nurse on staff at all, its all a lie. I would not send my family member there. We are trying to get my grandfather out of that place as soon as we can.
