Mala Strana Assisted Living and Rehabilitation

My wife stayed at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center and Assisted Living for three weeks. They had a good staff. The problem was that they kept pushing my wife around, like the financial situation, because we were in the process of opening up medical assistance. She was moved four different times with two different roommates in different rooming situations. I tried to talk to the chief administrator. They had moved her two times without my consent. The physical appearance was very clean and well maintained. The food was good. They should improve their management. Their management did not communicate. They had very good meeting rooms. They had activities.

The people that work at Mala Strana Assisted Living And Rehabilitation are phenomenal. They take great care of my mother. She is glowing and she loves it there. They are phenomenal. Even their director stops in and says hello to everybody every day. They have great activities and she loves the food (she used to be an excellent cook). The people that work there really make it what it is. They're very caring and they look out for their residents and they communicate very well with the families, which is awesome.

Mala Strana Assisted Living and Rehabilitation is a very nice place. The staff is great. The care is great. I get physical therapy as well as occupational therapy, and they're very good at it. They are helping me out a lot. When I first came here, I was really in bad shape. They gave me wonderful care and I'm now back to being able to talk, laugh, and smile. I can do different things. So, there's a big improvement. It's a clean and decent place. It's kept up good. The maintenance is always doing whatever they need to do, and doing what you don't need to do, too. I'm very pleased to be here. They even have a whirlpool bath. The only thing is there's so many residents, so the nurses are answering all the lights. It'd be nice if it would be quicker, but you have to understand that that's how it is. Most of the time, the food is good, but I think they could have more options to add on their menu.

Mala Strana Assisted Living is wonderful, but like other place it's understaffed, and might take a little longer for them to get to you if you need the bathroom. The rooms were nice, but not spacious. The rooms have been redone, but the rehab area is in an older part of the building. Despite this, the rehab was really good. My mother came out better than when she went in. The food was like hospital food. They had big room where you can have big gatherings, and there were several smaller, private, intimate corners. That was quite nice.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Mala Strana, and it's a very nice place. Her room is pretty spacious and very clean. They have activities like bingo and so on. Some of the amenities include a salon and so on. The staff is pretty friendly, and they are very oriented towards Czech people since there's a big Czech community here in town.

We liked Mala Strana as well. Someone met us at the doorway who had her mother in there currently. She introduced us to some of the staff that’s working with her family, and they couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The facility isn’t as new inside. It looks very lovely on the outside, but some of the stuff is a little worn. But in our situation, that wouldn’t matter because the person who would be using it wouldn’t notice. We had gone into places that were too pristine and too beautiful that they were uncomfortable,so this one had more of a comfortable live-in feeling, but we really liked the space. We weren’t able to get into the room, so we don’t know what the rooms are like, but the facility itself, we like. It was a comfortable space with a lot of activities, which for our situation is kind of a necessary thing. It’s good to have people moving around and doing things because it’s more like a family feeling.
