My tour at Oak Grove Assisted Care was very pleasant and very informative. The lady that gave me the tour was very knowledgeable, very friendly, very outgoing, explained everything in great detail, and gave the brochure with all the information in it. Everything went very well. I saw two different rooms, they were very well laid out. They had a kitchenette, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They were all single apartment types, not shared, and they're very nice, very light, and airy. The staff showed me their activity area and what they do. They have a very nice facility laid out for the residents so they can get together, play cards, or put puzzles together. They have other people come in to entertain them. I only met two staff members, including the administrator, and she was very helpful. There was some painting that she said that she needed to do in the one apartment after the one person moved out and so on.

My mother is a resident of Oak Grove Assisted Care. It took some time for her to adjust, but she's doing well. She's very picky, so there are some things she doesn't care for, but she seems to like most of the food. As of right now, they only have bingo because of COVID. They usually offer other activities, but because of COVID they can't do them. We checked with other ones, but this place is the one that seems to work the best with what we wanted for her, it seems to be really good for her, and it's convenient for me.
