Country Gardens Assisted Living is a well-kept community. It's clean. The staff is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. In fact, I get phone calls from them all the time wondering when I'm going to move in because they want me out there. They are well staffed. They have a certified nurse on-call 24/7. I had a meal there and the food is excellent. You can order a special meal, you can order off of the menu, or they prepare meals for your medical condition depending on what your needs are. The staff are great. It's a great facility.

My father-in-law was at Country Gardens in Muskogee before he passed. Every time I went in, the place was so clean, and it smelled clean. There was no foul odor or anything like that. The nursing staff was very sweet. He was also a very lovable man so the nursing staff was crazy about him. The food was delicious, the best food I've had at an institution like that. They had a menu so that when a resident goes to the dining hall, they can choose what they want. If the cook was there in the dining hall and they wanted something special, they would cook it for them. They kind of have to closely watch what he orders though because of his diet; he's diabetic. I was impressed with that. They're a little bit pricey, but for the care that he got it was worth it for him. He was in a studio, a single room with a bathroom. It's a really nice big bathroom with a step-up shower so that he didn't have to step up very high. It was just right for him. He had a little trouble maneuvering things so it was large enough to accommodate all that. He also had a full-size refrigerator and a sink and counter space with some cabinets; it's kind of a kitchenette. He couldn't keep a lot of dishes but he had a place for his coffee mugs and a few little plates and silverware. It was very small but it was just enough because they had the dining hall, so he didn't really have to worry about cooking a meal. There was no stove or anything like that, it was just a refrigerator, and a sink, and counter area. They really encouraged their residents to go to the dining hall for their meals and not stay in their rooms. Once COVID hit, the nurses were taking orders and bringing the food to them, because for a while they had the dining hall shut down so that the residents would not gather in the dining hall. They had a lot of tables and each table held four people and they would usually assign four people to be at one table so that they could eat like a family. Of course, a husband and a wife would be assigned to one table together, and there would be two other people. They were trying to establish community and resident friendships with things like that. That's why they like for them to go to the dining hall and not stay in their rooms, but then COVID hit. The facility was very spacious and easy to navigate. They had several different wings and it was easy to navigate from one area to another. The hallways were beautifully decorated too and very spacious. I was never around for any of the activities, but every once and a while they would have family nights. It was like a dance and they would have a band come in and play. I was able to go to those and those were always very well done.

Country Gardens was very good and clean. The personnel were very nice, forthcoming, and answered all our questions. They offer private and semi-private rooms, skilled nursing as needed, and activities for the residents.

We were very pleased with our experiences with Country Gardens, both in the past and currently. Very friendly staff and they are always helpful. This is a clean environment, maintenance is kept current and the rooms or apts are always updated before a new resident moves in. I believe they offer studio, one bedroom and two bedroom options. Plenty of parking on all sides of the property. Rooms are easily accessible from the lot at the nearest entrance. Property is beautifully landscaped, with several garden areas where residents can plant and take care of their flowers and plants. There is a Bistro area, and two lounging areas, a library room and a very nice dining area. Family are always invited to join their loved ones for breakfast, lunch or dinner

Country Gardens was a very nice place. The staff was very good. It was clean. They were very helpful.

I have never visited when I was looking for myself, but just their mannerisms and the happy residents that are there mean a lot. It's clean, the staff are welcoming. The food was good.
