I visited a friend. Her food plates from breakfast & lunch were still in her room at dinner time. The counter near fridge hadn't been wiped down for who knows how long. Her room needed to be vacuumed very badly The entrance of building was nothing like the picture shown !! As I entered building it was gloomy feeling, NOT at all inviting ! The place looked like it was desolate, with exception of the receptionist - whom barely lifted her head to say hello & sign in !!

My mother is at The Bridges at Bent Creek. I like the actual space. Her room is very clean and very bright. The facilities are very modern. I really like the staff. They're very kind, caring, and very supportive. They have laundry facilities and a beautiful dining room. They have very pretty grounds. It's in a nice location, and it's very clean. They have tons of activities. Every time I walk in, I see a bunch of stuff going on. There could be more consistent staffing though.

I toured The Bridges at Bent Creek. They have been extremely helpful, and it was a beautiful location. I really like the people that we met there, so it's a wonderful place. The marketing director was the one that took us around and I really liked her. From what I understood, she's fairly new to Bridges at Bent Creek, but not to this industry. The staff knew her stuff, she answered all our questions, and she was compassionate and responsive. She knew what she was doing and that helps with confidence. Everybody's been very, very helpful and kind. They gave us a cookie and some soup, and it was good. The building is gorgeous, the layout is easy to get around, and the elevators are user friendly. They have an exercise area and an atrium where you can hang out. All the common spaces looked like they were well-kept and just comfortable.

I completed a tour of The Bridges at Bent Creek. The staff members were more than helpful and friendly. They had people actively involved in their activities. If one of the patients gets up at night and wants to go painting, they're allowed to go into the art room and paint. They leave things out for them. The rooms were wonderful. They had a variety. We would put my mom in the small suite with a bedroom, a living room, and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette had a small refrigerator and a microwave. They had samples for us to eat when we went in for the tour. I tried the chicken noodle soup, which was out of this world. They had fresh baked cookies out of the oven.

My relative is at The Bridges at Bent Creek assisted living. They've had a lot of personnel turnover, and the consistency of things have not been what we'd really hoped for. Pretty much the whole facility is assisted living, and then they also have an assisted living with memory care. In general, they try to do well; but there are a lot of residents, and I think people are stretched kind of thin. She's got a beautiful spot. The facility itself is beautiful. The only issue I've noticed is her bathroom has not been cleaned quite as well (or as frequently) as we'd like it cleaned. They've got a beautiful garden area. She has an overlooking room seeing that. They bring different activities and so forth and she participates in a program called Enrichment. I believe they charge extra to do it, but the idea is to provide extra stimulation for the people who participate in that. There are times that that works out really well for her, and there are times where she just refuses to participate. I can't really blame that on the staff. Their people are a little overburdened. If they had a few more employees and each person had a little more time with each resident, it would be better. I understand the labor market is challenging right now with Covid and a lot of people are choosing to stay home instead of work. It's a tough time. I'm understanding they're facing challenges. If we can get a healthcare worker that can come help provide a little higher level of care for her in her room, she can continue to stay there. They're telling us that her needs are more than what their staff is supposed to be handling at this point. The bottom line is she has to go to skilled care or get an additional caregiver in. If we get another caregiver in and she can stay where she is, that's fine. We can pay whatever the hourly rate is to enable her to stay there. Same problem anywhere, they don't have enough people.

We chose The Bridges at Bent Creek for my mother because of good location. They provide good care but they need to have more staff. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The do bingo, they have lobby time where they can talk about current events, and when COVID's over they can go outside. The facility is very well-kept.
