Shocking is all I can say. Administration seems to only care about making money. Even when it puts residents in danger. Food is awful. (Website is inaccurate… no dietician) Meals are shipped in, microwaved and served. They don’t have staff available to give meds 24hrs a day. Night staff cannot give meds. So if your loved one needs pain medication or anything else they need to wait for day staff. The list goes on…. If you care about your loved one, don’t send them here. I wish I would have had a warning.

Sylvan Crossings of Chapel Valley was the first place that had an opening for my friend. I have not been in it because of COVID, but it looked really clean. They've had trouble keeping people and a cook came down with COVID, but they were friendly and they treated him pretty good. It's nice outside and it's only 1-story, so it's comfortable and it has a lot of windows. The staff that I've talked to was very helpful and nice. The cook has been there for many years and he's really good, and he'll be coming back in a couple more days, so a couple of the women chip in and cook for 20 people. Sometimes, he likes the food and sometimes he doesn't. This place is comfortable, well-kept and has good parking.
