Sakura Gardens of Los Angeles was very clean and the staff was very helpful. It's gated so it's very safe. I saw the dining hall and then a one-bedroom. It was nice. We are looking for a bilingual or more of a Japanese-speaking facility, and this person helped me and showed me around. She was fully bilingual. So, that would have been good for my friend. It was a good experience.

The staff at Sakura Gardens of Los Angeles was friendly. Overall, it's OK. Everybody seemed happy. Everybody would say hi to each other, so that's pretty good. The wall and the ceiling were kind of a little outdated. It probably needs a little renovation, and they need to clean it a little bit. The staff during the tour was a very nice lady. She was friendly and very welcoming. They had a lot of activities, but I was there on a weekend. They said they had no activities during weekends, and family members come and visit their relatives. The dining area was big.

I personally like Sakura Gardens of Los Angeles. My friend kind of likes it, but the sister-in-law is domineering, so she has to have the last say so. The sister-in-law didn't like it. She said it's too structured and she is afraid of the elevator. She said there's an elevator, and my friend will get confused in the elevator. There was confusion with the manager at first because there was a miscommunication as to the appointment time, so we ended up being toured by one of the nurses. She was very thorough. We went to one of the rooms and I like it. My friend seemed to like it also, but she was quiet all this time. The sister-in-law was the one asking most of the questions. When we came down, she showed us the recreation area. It was closed at the time. When we were outside of the building, she told us about the koi pond and the community garden. There were a lot of benches all over the place, and that's one thing I like. I also like that there's a security guard and that it's very secure. The area outside is not that nice, and it's not a very safe area, but since there is the security gate and the security guard, the residents will feel safe there. The facility is very clean, too.

On the occasions I have visited Sakura Gardens, I have found the facility to be impeccably clean and was impressed by the friendly and caring staff. Most importantly is that my aunt is always smiling and cheerful, a good sign of the care she is receiving. Shin, in particular, is always helpful and makes sure our questions are answered.

Our Aunt is staying at Sakura Gardens for a few months now and we are really happy that she is able to live in a clean and safe home. Everyone at Sakura Gardens is very helpful, friendly and attentive to our Aunts needs. She enjoys daily exercise classes and an occasional movie. The grounds are well kept with a Koi pond and a turtle that likes to hang out on the rocks. Her father stayed there many years ago and we remembered how well he was taken care of. We are grateful for the amazing care that they provide at Sakura Gardens.

My mother has been a resident in Sakura Gardens Los Angeles Memory Care Unit since March 2021. She has adjusted quickly after her transition from home. The Memory Care Unit is clean and bright. The caregivers are very friendly and warm and frequently give me updates when I visit. My mother has made friends with some of the residents and is always in good spirits when I visit. It is very reassuring to know my mother is in good hands with people who really care about her well being. I am grateful to the staff at Sakura Gardens Los Angeles Memory Care Until.
