I visited this facility

Legacy at Crystal Falls was new and very elegant. The layout of the rooms was just a little bit tiny, but it was probably one of the nicer looking. It was very, very up to date. The location was also good for us. We looked at the memory care unit and they were very, very accommodating. We loved the small, intimate care that they had. It was very family-oriented and we felt very welcome there. The person who gave the tour was top-notch, accommodating, and friendly. We liked that they met us after hours because we were late coming into town. There were two women there and they were a plus for that community. They were excellent.

My mom moved into The Legacy at Crystal Falls. It's high class and the care is really excellent. The facilities are really nice. They have have chefs in the kitchen, and the food is very high quality. They have very personal care. It's a small community, and it's not too big. Everybody knows everybody, and they just take really, really good care of my mom. They pay attention to every detail. I really like it. It's really nice. Her room has a really big bathroom, which is good because they have to have somebody in there helping her with the bath. It has a kitchenette, but because she's in memory care they don't give her any heating appliances. It has a refrigerator, a sink, and a really nice countertop, and the room is really pretty. It looks like a nice hotel room. They could maybe do a little better on the activities, I think.

I visited this facility

Legacy at Crystal Falls was very good. It would meet all of my mother-in-law needs, like the social, and the comfort. Everyone seemed very friendly and comfortable, and seemed to enjoy being there. The facility was very clean, very high-end, and nice. They had nice rooms with big closet space and nice bathrooms. They were good. We saw the menu and it was very diverse.

The worst. Don’t place your loved one here. Management is horrible and they have major systemic problems. It is beautiful and is great during the week days- but the nights and weekends are a nightmare. Nights are under staffed, so the caretakers cant possibly get to everyone. Residents wondering around asking for help with no-one in sight. Care-plans never get read and the caretakers are so overworked and underpaid that they cant keep them. So the eternally new caretakers never know what to do. If you do put your loved one here, be sure to get a camera and advocate for them..

I have had experiences with several al and memory care places now and they all disappoint. Legacy is no exception. The caretakers and staff is mostly kind and the place is clean and beautiful however they are very understaffed and management is difficult to deal with. Rooms are beautiful and large. They will actually raise your level of care (and cost) for advocating for your loved one. They dont follow care plans and when you ask that they actually do what you are paying for they will charge you for that communication time by an increase in care level. Each time you change something like meds they also charge you. Be aware of the way they nickel and dime you. The attitude that i feel is ‘we do what we do and if you don't like it thats too bad’. I will be moving my father as soon as humanly possible. He is happy enough however as he likes the independence snd residents are kind. But the next fall that is unreported will result in another move probably back home. Ask lots of questions and be clear about your expectations! Good luck!

I visited this facility

We toured Legacy at Crystal Falls. It's absolutely wonderful, a single story, and only a couple of years old. They had a lot of workers, and everybody was wonderful. The food was wonderful, and the rooms were really nice, but it's too expensive at $8,000 a month for two, but it included everything. They had all kinds of activities. The entry lobby was really pretty. They had a kitchen area for snacks, different rooms that family members can use, and a pretty outdoor space with garden planters if you want to plant vegetables or plants. The dining room was really nice. There was a theater room, an exercise room, and a beauty parlor, but you have to pay for services. Right next to it was the memory care facility that they lock. I cannot say enough about that facility.

Very happy w the staff and facility itself. The food is the only thing that is lacking and it is our only concern. After 3 months my dad has lost 10 pounds and we’ve had to start taking him to eat to reverse that trend. Unfortunate given the $ he is paying to stay there. Everything else though is great!

The Legacy was one of the best places I visited. The people were wonderful. It was small but very personal place where they can give better attention to people. They had a lot of modern technology. Everything was clean, modern, and a very good size. However, the food was industrial-like, and I wished that they would have more doctors and nurses there more often.

Legacy at Crystal Falls is a brand new and nice facility. Everybody was very helpful. It was very secure, but it was also really expensive. They spent a lot of time with us, so it was nice. Their rooms were a little odd and kind of funky. They had a weird set up, and their living area was very small.

I liked Legacy at Crystal Falls a lot. I was there a total of four times. I liked the manager. It was a smaller facility, prettier, and newer. It had a really open and bright feel to it. I really liked the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly. They took the initiative to introduce themselves, and the gal explained the program really well. It had a different model in that it was a straight fee based on the room that you were at. They wouldn’t charge for your level of care and, in principle, that was a really good thing. They said, “It doesn’t matter your level of care. We're gonna take care of your needs.” I liked the staff and the facility. The rooms were a bit small. I thought the employees there worked well as a team together. I liked that it was one story and that they had memory care in one corner of the building.

My loved ones were at Legacy at Crystal Falls' memory car, which was secured and had more staff per resident. The staff was absolutely exceptional. They went out of their way to meet our needs. In fact, they went beyond expectations trying to meet our needs, so they were absolutely outstanding. They're willing to meet their clients at any level. They had very personalized care and an extremely attentive staff.

Legacy is a pretty new, nice place. I love the fact that it’s full of light and built around patios. The staff is very good, and I’m very happy to have found it.

My mother is in Legacy at Crystal Falls. She has round-the-clock care, and it's been pretty good so far. She has been there about three months now. They're very attentive, and she enjoys it. It's a brand new facility, so everything is very clean and new. She has a two-room suite that has a living room and a bedroom. She is in a wheelchair and all the bathrooms are very large. She can maneuver, and they have a roll-in shower. They have a gym, on-site chef, activities, different communal living areas where people can play cards and watch TV. They have outings, they go shopping and to doctor's appointments. They have a nurse that comes in once a week to check on her and there's someone there 24 hours a day. She has an emergency call button in her room, and they're very prompt at responding to her. The food is very good. They have a chef that cooks fresh every day. She can also request meals in her room if she's not feeling like coming down to the dining area. They have a very nice dining room area that can hold at least 50 people and then they have a private dining room if she wants to have family in a private dinner. She can request things if she wants something in particular or something that's not on the menu for the day. It's really good, and she's very happy there.
