Vitality Living Baypoint Village was a nice facility. The staff was very nice. The rooms were older and smaller. And it wasn't as cost-effective because of the additional charges for oxygen and managing medication and things like that. There were additional charges, which added up quickly. The building looked like a solid foundation. The baths were good size. It was just a little older facility, but it was clean. With regards to activities, I saw the residents gathered in a lobby area out front. They had social events. The residents that I encountered there seemed like they were happy. It seemed like a large facility, and a lot of people were there. The facility was a little older. They could use a little bit of upgrading, but they were adequate.

I went to Vitality Living Baypoint Village. It was an amazing tour. The staff was very nice. The only difference between that and the other place for me was the distance. The dining facilities were amazing. The actual apartment was top notch. Everything about them was great. I looked at their memory care and assisted living, and both were extremely top notch. I was not able to try their food, but everything I saw looked amazing. The cleanliness was very good.

We chose Vitality Living Baypoint Village for my husband. So far, so good. I like their staff. They are very conscientious and caring. His room is very nice and you have to furnish it yourself with a bed. You have to have a bed, a chest, and a dresser. I'm very pleased that I moved him there. So far, it's been a very good experience. What's nice about their memory care is they don't let them just lay in their beds. They have activities like painting. They have a little cooking area where they're allowed to help make brownie mixes or whatever, although their staff is the one that takes it and gets it cooked. The other day, they were doing papier mache and they always have something going on for them.

Vitality Living Baypoint Village is an excellent facility. They provide good care and good food. They do from independent living to assisted living to memory care at their facility. They keep the grounds excellent looking, and they do excellent cleaning inside. There are no odors in there. Their meals are served like in a fine restaurant where you would get your soup first, then they come back with a salad, they come back with your main course, and then your dessert. They're a very fine facility. I've eaten there many times as a guest of people from my community who have moved there. It's an older facility, but it's very, very well kept up. The staff is very courteous to the guests and they are very patient and courteous to the residents. They have entertainers come in, and they have a little happy hour in the afternoon where people can have a light beverage.

My mom has moved into Vitality Living Baypoint Village. It was absolutely gorgeous. They have remodeled. A little TLC went a long way from the day I stepped in there to the day I put her in. The staff so far has been absolutely amazing. I haven't tried the food. My mom has been eating, so that indicates that it's good enough for her. Their food preparation looks beautiful. They do a lot of afternoon parties. They have a chef. We were there when they were prepping all this beautiful food from fresh vegetables to pick on and order. It looked amazing. My mom is in a shared room. It is at $3,000 a month. It's not very big, but she's paired with somebody just like her. She is incontinent, so she needs to be changed and cleaned every hour and a half. The activities are endless. They have Taichi, bingo, art, and dance. Every day it's something different, but it goes on all day long. They do movie nights and have ice cream socials. They have a band that comes in every day, so that lasts about an hour. They set up all the food and the music for their age. It's amazing and very entertaining. It's only been a week, but no disappointment at this time, especially since they have redone it. If you would have asked me three weeks ago, I would have given a rating of two, as far as decor and looks.

Vitality Living Baypoint Village was a beautiful place. It looked clean. It almost looked like a resort. The tour guide was very pleasant. I liked the rooms. It is something I would consider when I'm old, if the price doesn't go up exorbitantly. My mom needs memory care. It's $5000 a month, and that's out of my budget. I didn't try their food. I only tried some brownies that the chef gave me, and they were good. They have a swimming pool. They have bingo, and they have a shuttle that takes you out. I think they eat out every Friday. It's an active place. You can't get bored there.

I went to Vitality Living Baypoint Village. They had a lot of things going like even activities and things that would be nice. They have a nice one-bedroom. It's got a full kitchen and a lot of storage space, and it even has what you call a safe in the closet. It was nice. And they had the mail on each floor, in the wall, the mailboxes. They do laundry for you, You get three meals a day plus two snacks. The chef himself came to meet me while I was on the walk-through with this guy who was showing me all around, and we were stopping there talking in the dining room. He was so nice. He came over and we were kind of laughing with each other. And he gave me some pastries that he made. He had them in a little box. And I thought that was sweet. Everybody was friendly, nice and helpful. They even had a wall dedicated to the military people who are still there, and they had an ice cream bar and they had a pool. I saw the dining room. It was nice, and it makes you feel like you were in a mountain cabin. If you don't like anything they've got that day, you can get hot dogs, hamburgers, and sandwiches, which is good. And you can sit anywhere you want. They have activity rooms, and they have things like games besides just bingo, they have Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and stuff like that, which I like.

I went to look at Vitality Living Baypoint Village. The rooms were nice sized. The kitchen had fairly big appliances, not tiny little things. It was very clean. Everything looked good. I liked everything about it. The staff members were excellent. The food was really good. I could see people who needed help being helped. They have different rooms. They showed me where they have games and music. They have entertainment that comes in.

My mom moved in at Vitality Living Baypoint Village. The rooms here are right next to each other, so she gets to see her neighbors more often. It seems more homey for her needs and the things that she would like. The staff seems to be good. I was there for days and told them to pretend I wasn't there. They responded when she pushed the button around her neck. A couple of nights, she pushed her button and people showed up. When people showed up any time of the day, they were very patient and sensitive to her needs. I've got them waking her up in the morning, getting her dressed, and getting her to breakfast. They made me feel comfortable about the fact that they were giving her the care she needed. When we first got there, we had some issues with housekeeping because her room wasn't cleaned as it was supposed to be, but they took care of that right away. Her favorite part of the building, she said, is the big deck. There's a very large screened-in patio. She's on the second floor by the entrance, so she gets to look out at the entry of the property and the landscaping. If she sees somebody sitting down at the front door, she'll go down there and sit with them to socialize. She sits out there at night and she really likes it. I was able to have a meal there and it was pretty good. The dining facility was like a restaurant. They have cloth napkins, the table is set like a restaurant, and there's always an opportunity for her to eat. They are open from 7:00 in the morning till 6:00 at night. They have an anytime menu. Mom plays Rummikub, but they also have bingo, Jeopardy, and entertainment.

Vitality Living Baypoint Village is a very homey atmosphere. It kind of has a rustic dining room. The staff is very, very friendly. My husband loves the food. I have to cut him back on how much he eats so he doesn't gain weight. We actually first moved him into a studio, which is like maybe a 13 by 13 bedroom with a separate bathroom. He is a large man, so he thought it was a little cramped for him. Plus, he needs the assistance of aides to get him up into his wheelchair and dressing at that. After a week, I moved him into a studio deluxe, which is quite a bit bigger, has a walk-in closet, and it has a kitchen with full refrigerator, countertops, and all that. You can bring over beverages. They don't really want you cooking there and burning the place down, but you've got a little more flexibility bringing in sodas, water, and snacks that you can put in the refrigerator and that. So that was a big plus. When I moved him in, I told them, he could stand and transfer but he needs two aides to help get up out of bed into the chair and chair into the toilet, but they have not always sent two aides, so then they have to call a second aide, or sometimes he's had to wait more than five or ten minutes. There's been a few times where it's been longer than that, so they're working on it. The staff is very friendly. They've gone out of their way setting up his TV and helping us move into the different unit. Everybody seems to be very upbeat, positive, and helpful. They have people with music coming in probably once a week. They have a little happy hour. They do miniature pin bowling. They have morning exercises. They have a walking group. They play various versions of bingo. They play poker. They have outside activities where a van will take those wanting to go to a local restaurant for lunch and that sort of thing. They have plenty of activities. My husband hasn't participated in much yet because I'm still getting him adjusted. They have a swimming pool with outside tables. They have like an enclosed screened porch where they can go out and visit on days like today when it's 75 degrees outside. They have a front porch area where you can probably have 15 residents sitting out there just chatting.

I liked Vitality Living Baypoint Village. I have several friends that are there now. It's something I could be comfortable in. I like the layout of their deluxe one-bedroom. I like that floor plan better than I did the others. They were bigger. I had lunch there and it was very good. I liked the swimming pool. I didn't like the community room when you come in. To me, it was dark and closed in. I saw a lot of them playing cards. I saw their exercise room and that impressed me. My friend's apartment was adequate. I liked the fact that it had a walk-in closet and it had the separation from the kitchen to the living room. I liked the fact that there was a wall there where you could put a desk or a small table. I liked the floor plan a little better. I don't think they had much outdoors there. It's too commercial in that area. It's within walking distance of the drugstore. I think that was an asset as long as I'm agile.

Vitality Living Baypoint Village was very nice. They take very good care of the place. It's not brand new, but it is very well taken care of and it's kept up nice. It's in a country secluded kind of section where it's not busy and it's set off into the woods. We ate eat there, and their food was delicious. They had a one-bedroom-one-bath with a kitchen that we looked at, and it was very big and very nice. It wasn't like a little small thing as we saw at the other place. It had a full kitchen. They had a nice clubhouse, and they had a beautiful swimming pool.

Vitality Living Baypoint Village was a nice building, and they had great activities. They had a huge dining room, and it looked like they had professional chefs. The layout was so spread out, but it's a nice environment overall. They were a lot more independent. They actually have a pool. The lady who showed me the room was pleasant. I just thought the rate was a little high for the studio that they were offering me.

My mother will be moving into Vitality Living Baypoint Village. There were a lot of outdoor areas to sit and a lot of activities going on. The staff was very informative, very helpful, and very thorough on everything. She hasn't moved in yet, but from what I've heard from other residents there, they all say the food is very good. It's very accommodating. We just like the atmosphere of the place. It has everything. There's a salon, a workout area, a pool, and a place to sit out by the pool.

We looked here and I liked that they also have assisted living and we talked to the chef. He was informative about the fact that my husband can order anything that he wanted, and they were there 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and if he wanted to eat in his room he could. He would just call down and order, come down, and grab and go. That was very nice to get to speak to the chef. They've got a library, an arts and crafts room, and an area where they have concerts or lectures. They showed us an independent apartment. They gave a sample of their baked goods which was fantastic. It comes in a little box that says "Thank you for the tour."

I have a very good impression. The ladies that we met were very pleasant and very good. I like the entrance; they have a long table there where people can gather around. They have activities such as exercises and field trips, they have a beauty salon, and they are able to go to the doctor's appointments. The staff members were very pleasant in answering whatever questions or concerns we had. We could call back if we need to, and we were welcomed back if we need to look around more. They were good. The physical appearance was very good.

It is the one I'm going to move into whenever I make the decision to move. I have friends that have lived there and still live there, so I'm familiar with the place. The staff member that I met was very friendly and nice. The location is on a very busy road, but it doesn't matter anymore once you are inside the place. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment which was kept up very nicely. They take you on a bus to go to outings and to different Church services. The food was probably one of the best in the area, and their chefs were outstanding.

We had a wonderful experience here. The lady showed us the rooms, the activity area, the dining room, and the garden. They went into all the details as to how they can help us put my mother-in-law there. I saw some residents in the garden sitting and talking while having some refreshments. The lobby, the rooms, and the dining room were beautiful. The whole place is sparkling clean. The staff was very pleasant and very receptive. They had a salon, a library, a bingo area, an area for Church services, and a movie theater. They gave us a small box with some cookies to take home, and I was very surprised.

It also was elegant life style living, but it’s like living in a lodge as there’s timber and more masculine and rustic. It was very nice. They had a pool. I have friends that live there, and they had a little problem getting in their pools; some made it easier for wheelchair patients. The meal was very good. They were organized, met you at the door, greeted you, and were ready to give you the tour.

We went here for my mom; we may choose this one. It was good and looked nice when we went in. I liked the push button they had in the rooms, which is kind of like a check-in button, so that people would know that they're there and everything's OK. The rooms and apartment were nice, so that was good. The one thing I really liked is that it's progressive so my mom can be independent. Care level goes all the way up to memory care, all in one place, so I wouldn't have to keep moving her around. It was too isolated and in not the best neighborhood, so there's no community around. For them to go anywhere, which my mom likes to do a lot, it wouldn't be safe for her. They will take them places, so there's that, which is good.

We had my husband here. He was very happy to be there, but he got worse, and they will only accept patients up to a certain amount of illness. He was only there for 3 days. It was very nice; they did take care of him. From what I saw, it was clean. I believe they have a pool and kind of like a library. I was in a room that was loaded with books, and it looked like some novels. The one thing that is not that great is that he had to go in an area called memory. I had to buy the furniture for that room, and it caused me quite a bit of money because in that area, the rooms were empty.

It is a very nice facility with a lot of activities, but it did not have a separate dementia ward. They are working on a memory unit that will open in June of this year. It is also a much larger facility and the rooms are first class. They have a formal dining room and the meal was quite nice, it was like dining in a restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The people that are employed in the therapies are very skilled.

It seemed to have a higher energy staff. They knew many of the people there by their first name and they addressed them by their name. They engaged with them. They were dedicated to taking care of the folks that live there. The dining room was a community kind of dining room where it seemed like there was an assignment of seating and the people seemed to get along fine. It seemed like it was a happier place.
