My mother lives at Christopher's. Everyone there is SO sweet to her. They take the best care of her. Deanna is the best!

We toured Christopher's Place and it was very nice. The price was in the right range. It was a smaller facility, but it was a very nice building. It's a little bit dated being a little bit older, and their rooms were a little bit smaller, but you could tell that it was well-maintained. It's privately owned, and I met one of the owners, and he was just very gracious and welcoming. The lady who gave me the tour was very nice, very open, and was able to answer all the questions I needed. You could see the compassion she had for my friend. I liked that she talked to my friend who needed the senior facility and not to me. She treated her as a person. The dining area was adequate. They had snacks available for the people who lived there. Their menu looked really good. They had two different options for the day, a lighter fare, and then if you don't want that one, you can have the other sandwich and soup option. They have various patios with a few chairs. It was not super impressive, but they had a place outside.

The people that work at Christopher's Place were extremely nice. But they don't show you much other than a courtyard in the back and a room. The only thing I could complain about was that they needed a new carpet. It was an older facility. They had a nice little dining room and an outdoor area for seating. It's a small facility. I saw one room with a bookcase as a divider. It had a private bath.

We went to Christopher's Place, and we really liked it. It was just laid back and relaxing. We saw the nurses and the staff just enjoying what they did. The director there was really nice, informative, answered all of our questions, and took us around to show the rooms, including the outside area. They let us know how they do things there and how they do the medication. They also have the Alzheimer's section (which we won't need), but they showed us the security in the facility and all that stuff. We really liked it. We really felt comfortable there. They had a small dorm refrigerator and a microwave in the room. They had a courtyard.

I visited Christopher's Personal Care Home but I was not impressed at all. It was kind of run-down and has more of a nursing home kind of feel. I won't suggest this place at all. I walked in and it's nice in the front part of it, but it just didn't give you that secure, that homey feeling. The person that helped me was very unorganized. This is just based on the 30 minutes that I toured it.

Our relative is in here. The staff is great. The environment is great as well. She is in a room that is clean and spacious.
