Reviews of Carriage Court of Grove City

I visited this facility
Carriage Court of Grove City wasn't bad, but it was just pressure sale, and I'm not one for that. They had nice rooms, a nice dining room, and nice activities. Other than the pressure sales thing, it's very nice and clean, and everybody's friendly.
I appreciate your kind words about our community. I would like to apologize if we made you feel pressured during your visit. We are very passionate about our community and the care we provide. It is never our intentions to make someone feel pressured. I would love for you to revisit our community. If I can do anything to help in the future I would welcome that opportunity. Again, I apologize for your experience during your first visit. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Kind Regards, Donna Moening, Executive Director

I visited this facility
Carriage Court was nice. We only talked to one staff person, and it was good; they were knowledgeable. The grounds were nice, and the location is good -- about 20 minutes away from my home. It would be a good place for just about anyone, except that for two people the rooms were small. But other than that, it was really nice, and the residents seemed happy.

I visited this facility
The apartments were small, but they were nice. We had nothing to complain about Carriage Court of Grove City. It was well kept, and it seemed like they offered everything that my loved one needed. The dining room was sufficient and very nice. The price was better than the other place we visited. They had planned activities, cards, bible studies, and field trips to the shopping center. They also had hairstyling. It was pretty self-contained.

I am a friend or relative of a resident
My dad is now in hospice at Carriage Court. It has been an excellent experience financially, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. In every way, I would not say one unkind thing about it. It has been excellent. The staff is wonderful and very supportive.

I am/was a resident of this facility
I was at Carriage Court Assisted Living for three weeks on a trial basis. The staff was very good. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. The food was also good. The programs were good. I was there during the Christmas season, and there are a lot of churches and organizations coming in to conduct programs. There are pretty much a lot of things going on. They also took the residents on mini trips. If I had to live somewhere, I would live there.

Friend or relative of resident
Both of my grandparents resided in Carriage Court for a number of years. There seemed to be a good number of outings planned for the residents on a regular basis, allowing them opportunities to go many places they otherwise would not have been able to visit. The food was pretty good and the services provided were highly spoken of. These included religious services, game nights, and a place to get one's hair cut within the building, to name a few. The only complaint would be that the company began accepting some residents that should have been in a nursing home rather than assisted living. This became taxing on both the staff and residents alike, though many of these cases were eventually sent to a nursing home. On a few occasions it also took the staff longer than necessary to provide help to the residents, but this was not exceptionally common. The rooms were also pretty old, but they were fairly well taken care of.
