I am a present resident at this facility and I am very disappointed because there is nothing to do. We are located in Tucson, AZ and I am well aware there is a Covid problem in AZ. We all live here and we eat three meals a day at the same table just like a family. There has been no effort to get any activities together outdoors or indoors. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 40yrs and have made visits to facilities when we had bad weather and disease but I have never seen such a failure to keep the residents engaged with each other or with the staff. What a disappointment.

My mother-in-law is on the memory care side of The Villas at Green Valley. It is beautiful. We love it. It is a very wonderful place. The staff has been wonderful to her. The dining area is absolutely beautiful; it is like a great room. They cook right there and residents can see them cooking. It is a beautiful place. They have a television, sofas, and tables there. It is also clean. My mother-in-law does zumba and listens to music, they have dominoes and bingo, and there is also a day that you can bring your pet in for visits. They also watch movies with popcorn. The staff members are all kind; my mother-in-law loves all of them.

The Villas at Green Valley was relatively new, beautiful, and very nice, but I didn't feel that the community was suited to memory care. The young lady who gave me the tour was more interested in telling me about her personal life than she was about the community. I was pressed for time because I knew my husband had a couple of days before I would have to move him, so the tour wasn't helpful to me. The staff did not show me any of the rooms, just the common areas. I wasn't really receptive to their approach. The Villas at Green Valley was not as appropriate for my family's use as to the place I chose.

We were very impressed with The Villas at Green Valley. The individual rooms were very nice and large. The bathrooms were nice and had a separate shower room, which is OK for safety. I was impressed that each house holds 10 people, and they have their own kitchen. The staff fixes meals for the 10 people, which we like. There was a little dining room where you can bring your family if you want them to eat with you and a very nice living room area. We also liked that they had a lot of activities with the other houses. They mingle the memory care people with the people who are there because theyre old and need help, and we like that. It was very well done, and the staff seemed very caring.

I would highly recommend The Villas at Green Valley to any family or anyone seeking an assisted living or memory care home. My 89 year old mother who has Lewy Body Dementia (like Alzheimer's but also with palsy and hallucinations) has lived there for the past 18 months. The buildings (with only 10 residents each) are new and beautifully decorated, and the staff are miracle workers and have the patience of saints. My mother likes the delicious meals, and walking outdoors in the secured area that is beautifully landscaped with an amazing view of the Santa Rita Mountains. Her private room has its own half bath, and some of the rooms have their own private shower as well. I toured seven different homes and The Villas at Green Valley was the best by far. Their Care Manager makes a smooth interface with my mother's doctors (making everything so much easier for me as my parent's only remaining relative), and the Manager is responsive and has a great sense of humor. I could never do for my mother all the things her caregivers do for her. And there are multiple daily activities for her to choose from, along with her own TV/phone/radio in her private room that she can listen to whenever she wants. I don't know what we would have done without The Villas at Green Valley.

The Villas are very nice and homey inside and out. The staff was wonderful from our very first visit and the general manager was very helpful. We're very happy with the staff. The only thing is, they have a calendar of activities, but there's not a lot going on and I wish there was more. The place has a lot of different amenities as well.
The Villas at Green Valley is in the northern region of Green Valley, Arizona, a short drive off Interstate 19 with various eateries and shopping centers nearby. Visitors of The Villas appreciate its homelike atmosphere, and they're impressed by the staff-to-resident ratio in each house. Family members praise the staff for their friendliness and patience with the residents and say their loved ones enjoy delicious, freshly made food in the dining room. Relatives note that residents take pleasure in walking in the secured garden areas, which have beautiful landscaping and a picturesque view of the mountains.
