My father suffered an acute illness in the fall of 2020 that worsened his dementia and required transfer to a memory-care assisted living facility. It was an incredibly stressful time for all of us due to COVID and I was unable to even travel down to FL to visit him in the hospital as no guests were allowed. We were so lucky that a spot opened for him at Royal Palm. From the beginning, Emmie and the rest of the staff have gone above and beyond to help with the transition and allay my fears. My father has been there for over two years now and I have been able to visit. The facility always smells CLEAN. And my father is always happy. He thinks he is living in a hotel! He loves the food and goes on and on about how delicious it is. The fact that he is able to move around the gated grounds and spend time out in the sunshine is incredible and keeps his mood up. The staff are incredibly supportive and help arrange necessary doctor's appointments. When my father developed abdominal pain, they had him evaluated immediately and the nurse, JoAnn, who is amazing, called 911. He ended up having appendicitis! Emmie was helpful navigating that hospital stay and assisting with the return to Royal Palm after the surgery. I cannot recommend Royal Palm highly enough!

The Royal Palm Senior Residence saved us at a time when I was not prepared to take care of my husband at home after his fall and a month’s stay in a rehab hospital. From my first contact with the administrative staff, I knew we were in good hands. She was responsive, caring and quickly guided us through the application process. I liked that the Royal Palm did not look or feel institutional. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The meals are home cooked, ample, and very tasty. There is a center courtyard garden with palm trees and colorful plants. It’s a peaceful place where residents can sit quietly or chat with fellow residents and visitors. I saw residents with individual needs and personalities being treated with such patience and kindness. The overall feeling I got was here are people who are competent, caring, and dedicated to the important services they provide. I can’t say enough how thankful and grateful we are to everyone who helped us at the Royal Palm.

The facility is very cozy and easy for elders to get accustomed to quickly. It is very homey and the entertainment room is like the living room of a family house. The staff is very cordial and gentle to the residents. My brother enjoyed the tv and also the art class. We still have a picture that he painted with the staff's help that we are all very proud of. The food is like home cooked and very enticing. All in all it's a nice transition from home.

This is a smaller facility with a hands-on approach to their residents and the upkeep of facility. I always found it clean during my unannounced visits. The courtyard has a calming tropical nature to it and was always a favorite area for me. The property is well-maintained inside and out. The rooms that I saw were mostly shared rooms with private bathrooms for each room. The staff were always welcoming to any requests that I had. There is an inside dining area and an outside (covered) dining/meeting area where special events are held. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the operation of this facility.

RPSR provides excellent care from friendly and dedicated caregivers. It is comforting to know that our loved one is given the personal attention that she requires. The atmosphere at the facility is cheerful and welcoming. We can always rely on the administrator to keep us informed.

I placed my father here in an emergency situation. Due to dementia this was not an easy transition for my father. Emmie was so helpful and patient while working out all the details and the staff were really wonderful trying to ease his agitation. I live out of state and they are so great at sending pictures of him participating in crafts or dancing to the live music now that he has settled in.

I’ve been to Royal Palm many times and I could say, this place is always welcoming and pleasant and clean. Not only I had witnessed how the members of staff cared and loved my friend’s aunt, I also noticed how compassionate they were. They treated her like she was family. I love this place!

My Mother was a resident at Royal Palm for 3 Years. We chose this place because of the warm and cozy environment. It has a beautiful courtyard filled with fountains and exotic plants where the residents can sit and enjoy the sunshine and the sights and sounds. Most of the staff have been there a long time and are very attentive to the residents and their needs. Any concerns are dealt with immediately. The rooms are very comfortable and kept very clean. Royal Palm offers different activities for the residents such as Bingo, Music Sing-a-longs, exercise, and arts and crafts, My Mom was happy there and we felt very confident with the care that she received while she was a resident there.

After looking at 7 or 8 different Assisted living places, I decided on Royal Palm due to their cleanliness; their individual attention to each resident, their rooms and their outside ? outdoor facilities. I placed my mother in their hands in 2017, and never regretted it. I am fortunate that I lived near by, so I popped it at all hours; and was always satisfied and happy at the treatment they gave my mother. If I personally needed to go to an assisted living place, I would want to stay here.

I had visited quite a few places before coming across Royal Palm. I was looking for a place for my Mom. I highly recommend Royal Palm. The staff is friendly and attentive to the residents. Being a smaller residence you get to know everyone quickly and they always let me know how my mom is doing, when I visit. The room is always clean, she always looks great, clean and dressed nicely, enjoys the meals and always has a smile. She participates in the activities and has made friends there. They have their own physician, which is great. I know my mom is being well taken care of. When it's my time, I hope there is a room there for me.

My uncle is at Senior Residence. I like the whole atmosphere. It's small, and I figured he would do very well in a place like that. So far, he seems to be very happy and likes the food. The staff is very nice and competent.

Royal Palm was a smaller facility. We really thought that would be an excellent place for her. The rooms were adequate, big enough in size, not luxurious, and certainly clean. Some people could bring in their own furniture. One group was doing some singing, and another group was doing puzzles.

I visited Royal Palm looking for placement for my father. When I walked in I was amazed at the beautifully landscaped grounds so lush and tropical. All the staff members I encountered had smiles on the faces and greeted me as I passed them. The residents we all nearly dressed with their hair neat and all of them seemed quite happy to be there. I met with J.B. who gave me a lot of info about the property and showed me around. He was extremely helpful and provided me with all the information I was looking for and even some info I didn't know I would require. With his attention to detail and compassion for the residents at Royal Palm receive personalized care beyond your expectations. Overall this is one of the best small communities I have come across in search of a place for my father. I would recommend this facility to anyone in search of peace of mind that your loved one will be well taken care of in a beautiful setting, Royal Palm is definitely at the top of my list!

This is a wonderful facility! The care is very personalized. I have visited Royal Palm many times and I am always impressed with the homey atmosphere.The staff knows every resident by name and treats each on like a VIP. The residents all seem satisfied and well taken care of. The families also seem happy with the care provided to their loved ones. The rooms are updated and pleasant, though not too large. The food is good home cooking. I give Royal Palm my highest recommendation.

I chose to visit Royal Palms Senior Residence because the residents were more active and it was more of a positive atmosphere. The staff was very kind. They were helpful in every way possible. I thought their rooms were adequate. Their dining room was adequate too. What I like best about this community was it was very positive. They just had a lot of activities. They tried to keep the people busy. The grounds were very nice and very clean. I would recommend this community to others.
